Automotive Group is a fast growing shop looking for experienced, thorough Mechanics. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a myriad mechanical issues on customers' cars, including AC and electrical problems using our state-of-the-art equipment. We're looking for well-trained and highly organized professionals who take pride in his or her work and can perform various customer service duties as required throughout the day. We employ between 2 and 4 Auto Mechanics at any given time, so we need a professional with a flexible schedule.The initial requirement is for part-time but can turn into a full time opportunity. A valid Mississippi Drivers License is required.

We are looking for "B " Level Service Technicians that will have the responsibility of understanding and completing routine repairs necessary for the repair of customer vehicles. These individuals will perform general repairs and diagnosis with some assistance. These repairs include but are not limited to light engine work, drive shafts, electrical systems (starters and alternators) HVAC systems, Alignment, steering & suspension systems and vehicle sensors. Document all work performed and recommended on assigned repair order. Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time. Be able to use computer diagnostic equipment and conduct road test to determine work needed and to confirm work was successfully completed. Must be able to perform all levels of diagnosis and repair on vehicles. Perform all levels of preventive/routine maintenance services. ASE certifications heavily preferred, Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred, Previous automotive technician experience required. Reliability is a MUST. Must have basic tools. Must have great technical and mechanical skills. Must be a team player and have the ability to work repetitively on complex tasks. Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age Must have a valid driver's license Must be able to pass pre-employment screening. Hours are flexible.
