When we opened eurocars in 2006, we registered eurocarsofjackson.com as our website domain. Our website was there up until last December- when unbeknownst to us, our website provider allowed our domain to expire.
On the very first day our domain became available to purchase, Christian Byler of Luxury Auto Service did exactly that. Not only that, he put up a redirect, so that if you visited eurocarsofjackson.com, what you saw was his own business's webpage. Months later, after he had heard enough negative feedback from some of our customers who were disgusted that he'd stooped that low in a bid to try and steal business from us, he was finally shamed into taking the redirect down. When you look at eurocarsofjackson.com now, nothing is there- you can only see that is is parked by godaddy. When you check to see who owns it, you can't see Christian Byler's name associated with the site anymore, because he has changed it so that those details are not publicly displayed. Prior to that, however, it did display his name and identifying information as the owner of the domain. We managed to take a screenshot of that information before it came down, so that we could share it with Jackson in case he refused to release our website back to us. We have asked him nicely to do just that, and he was given more than ample time to do so. He has refused, and says that he will not release it.
Well, if that's the case, and we can't get our web domain back- we can at least make his underhanded, dirty business tactic public knowledge. This isn't a cutthroat, Wall Street-like business climate we are doing business in, here in rural West TN. We are a small business- a 'Mom & Pop'. This is not how WE do business, and we do not appreciate having been done this way by another small business.
And it's not only eurocarsofjackson.com that he claimed. For good measure, and certainly only for the purpose of keeping us from being able to purchase them ourselves, he also acquired eurocarsofjackson.net and eurocarsofjackson.info. Screenshots of those are also included here.
All we ever did was (regrettably) give this guy a job back in 2008.
Feel free to share.
