I wanted to give one last shout out to our Jr Thunder Series sponsors for 2025. Thanks to you all for supporting this class. Take a minute and look back through my posts from this year where I introduce the sponsors and some information about them.

We didn't get to complete the last few races but I did pay out the sponsor money for those races. I guaranteed the payout and each race was out of our hands on why it wasn't completed. I took the sponsor money for those race dates and the entry fee payout to spread evenly between the entries. One was a rainout, then the accident at track with the final race called due to the temps and oil on the track.

I really wanted to see happy smiles with the winners circle and to make something cool with the sponsor logo applied to the photos. Sorry that didn't happen.

Thank you to each and every sponsor on this flyer. I want to personally thank you for trusting me with your sponsorships to support these kids. These kids are the future of drag racing.

For 2026, I will not be doing the Jr Thunder Series racing. It was a challenge to schedule the events to fall on every bracket race. My goal was to get the payout up there close to the other classes and no extra travel for the parents that race too. I found it difficult to do this due to weather and other factors that changed the schedule. I found it taking hours of talking to people to get them lined up to come and then everything changed last minute. It was really taking time from other things I need to be doing.

If any of you sponsors really want to stay involved with jr racing and want sponsor a race for 2026, I would consider a few races for the year at some select tracks. Just reach out to me.

This weekend, Nov 8th 2025. Gates open at 11am, Time trials at 12pm, 1 official and race at 12:30 pm. $25 entry, $10 buyback 1st and 2nd round.
Sponsor money will be $800 and track gives entry fee payback to the pot.
1st place $600
2nd Place $200
3rd place $75
Note the more cars we have the more we can split up on payout. It will ALL be paid out. Contact me for discussion.

I am sure most of you have heard about the autocross trucks that the students have built in the after school program. These kids are not only learning learning skills, they are also learning to work as a team and compete by entering the trucks in auto cross competitions. The class has been honorably mentioned in numerous articles, event flyers and other social media. The class autocross truck program have many local sponsors and some major automotive mfg sponsors. Starting as just a group of people from Jackson TN area that just wanted to reconnect and talk about old times, call each other out at the track and have a car show to hang out and meet other friends... this one meet a year quickly turned into a huge group of people wanting to join the fun.. This group usually has an annual Fri night Jackson Dragway event for only Cruising Jackson members to bring their cars, call out each other and just a good ole time.. the next day a car show at the VFW in Jackson TN with TONS of auction items. This money raised is donated to charities in the area.. Such a good group of people.. Race Dates. Looking for 3 to 5 or more $100 sponsors for one or all these dates. October 31st will be a big event.

Still looking for sponsors to make these last 5 races good payouts for Jr racing. I have personally reached out to over 100 people that I know with businesses, clubs, teams and other types that I knew were into cars and racing. Not counting myself only 11 sponsors stepped up. 3 of them are not even local. They are from another state. I understand money is tight, but $100 to sponsor a week is not asking for a lot. We do appreciate these sponsors we have.

Beth and I personally support events of different types throughout the year. I offer my time for some, I offer parts donation items for auctions to many, merchandise from suppliers for giveaways and such, cash money to some and if nothing else, I blow up FB with information to help promote.

For 2026, we are going to pull back and only support the ones that are supporting the Jr Thunder Series. If you have some type of event for 2025 and 2026 and are not a sponsor for 2025 or planning to sponsor a week or 2026, I will put more from Hurst Hot Rods to this Jr racing event vs out to others. This is a good class and the future of drag racing. This does not mean to sound rude or that we will not come to a car show, race or event that you have to support. It just means, I will show more support to the ones that support this class.
