Required:
- Automotive work experience (5+ years)
- Highschool diploma or GED equivalent

Automotive technician in downtown Ithaca. Must have a professional attitude, take pride and be thoughtful in their work. Must also be willing to take directions, learn new tricks, continue education and communicate well.

Must be proficient in repairs / maintenance of:
- Breaks
- Suspension
- Electrical / charging
- Driveline
- Steering
- HVAC and engine mechanical systems (cooling, fuel / exhaust)
- Aptitude for OBDII and electrical diagnosis

Looking for a tech who can do oil changes, mount and balance tires and help around the shop. Temporary position that could become permanent. Must be honest, easy going, able to take direction, and be a good co-worker. We get busy but we care about our people and try to have fun doing what we do. Honest, easy going, outgoing, competent automotive technician. Tired of having to "make rate" every week at the big box stores and dealerships? We pay a good hourly rate based on experience, offer two weeks vacation , plus sick time and health benefits. Coworkers are experienced with both wrench and wit.
We get busy but we care about our people and try to have fun doing what we do. Work hours are Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm. New York State Inspection license is a plus. Email or call us and arrange a time to talk.
