PSA:
Happy Thursday
We wanted to take some time to address a few topics. We have grown a lot at the shop and with that comes some change. Change is good, I keep trying to remind myself of that.
Appointments are necessary :) we have a schedule that is usually booked out for a week with little room. Yes, we can squeeze in the tire repairs here and there. They may not get done immediately, but will be usually by the end of day. We try anyway!
If something pops up and your vehicle is towed here, we are working on it as fast as we can while still trying to keep our current customers on schedule. Please dont call up frustrated that your vehicle is not done yet. Be kind, we can only work our guys so much. This is NOT an easy job.
Payments are due when you pick your vehicle up. ANY PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT NEEDS TO BE DISCUSSED PRIOR TO THE WORK GETTING DONE ON YOUR VEHICLE. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. We still have staff to pay, overhead and the bills that come with the repairs that were for your vehicle.
We have a new management system we are using to try to make things run smoother. Bare with us! It's a learning process.... I know many of you have been coming in for years, but if I ask you for an updated address, its probably because we just may have the address you had when you were 7 😂... I wish I was kidding.
Dylan is one person and can only do so much. He can't do all the things and be the "main guy" all the time. We do have 3 other really hard working mechanics at the shop and each of them have really good strengths. If you call and dylan is not available, I can assure you I will pass you along to the mechanic who can help you.
Inspections will now come with a fee. For years we never charged to inspect vehicles but some things have to end. We spend a lot of time diagnosing vehicle issues for the work to get done elsewhere. We truly hope everyone can understand this.
Loaner vehicle. We do have 1 loaner, hopefully another soon. If we let you use it, please be kind and replace the gas. With it being so busy we don't have the time to be checking where the level is at. We have it loaned out every week, sometimes for a couple days at a time.
Parts- we will install parts you bring, however we will not be responsible for ANY warranty work on it. We install the parts for you and that's it. If the parts fail, it's on you to reach out to the place you got it from and figure all that out. When parts are purchased through us, yes they are upcharged like EVERY other shop does, but we also handle all warranty related problems for you from that point on.
As always, thank you for your support over the years. We appreciate our customers more than you'll ever know.
Jamie
