Do you live, fish, paddle, or play along the Youghiogheny River between West Newton and Buena Vista? Are you sick of seeing tires on the bottom of the river? Then help get them out! The Mountain Watershed Association and Three Rivers Waterkeeper have arranged for tire pickup and disposal, they just need you (and your boat) to help pull tires and stack them on the banks! (*For experienced paddlers only!*)

Where can I park?

Well-marked take-out parking will be provided at a community member’s property in Industry, PA



Set your own shuttle

You may start and end at any legal parking area



Where to put the tires?

Tire-stacking locations will be flagged ahead of time

Designated volunteers will pick up tires at the end of the day



What’s the best boat?

Motor boats are the most efficient for moving tires

Canoes also work well

We do not recommend sit-on-top kayaks or SUP boards



Are there guides?

No! This is a self-guided activity

Bring your own boat, food, water, and first aid kit

You don’t want to lose your tires in the river! We strongly recommend unloading your tires at Sutersville Boat Launch so you don’t tip over in the rapid downstream or using the stockpile locations along the river when you’re full.

MWA and Three Rivers Waterkeeper staff will be on the water, but we are not providing guiding services. Please paddle at your own risk.

We had some very special visitors from White Oak Animal Safe Haven stop by Kenny Ross Subaru! 🐾❤️

Meet Crowley & Abaddon — a bonded pair looking for their forever home together. These sweet pups were surrendered alongside their daughter when their owner could no longer afford their care, and now they’re hoping for a second chance filled with love and comfort.

Crowley is incredibly affectionate and loves attention, companionship, and being close to his people. Abaddon is calm, gentle, and easy-going, happiest in a peaceful environment with plenty of quiet affection. Together, they make the perfect pair and must be adopted together. They do best with older children.

We were excited to give away 100 trees to community members who registered for this special event. Participants received one of five beautiful tree species:

🌳 American Sycamore
🌸 Flowering Dogwood

Together, Subaru and its retailers provided and distributed 65,000 trees to communities across the country — and this is just the beginning.

Since 2020, Kenny Ross Subaru has been proud to partner with Norwin Area Meals on Wheels as our Hometown Charity through the Subaru Share the Love® Event. Together, we’re helping deliver more than just meals—we’re bringing comfort, connection, and care to members of our community who need it most.

Thanks to the incredible support of our customers and team, we’re excited to share that during the 2025 Share the Love campaign, we were able to donate $18,140 to support their mission!

Norwin Area Meals on Wheels provides hot, nutritious meals to individuals who are unable to prepare food for themselves, while also offering meaningful daily interaction that makes a lasting impact. ()

We’re proud to share that members of the Kenny Ross Subaru team recently took part in a volunteer cleanup and bridge redecking project along the Indian Creek Valley Trail in partnership with the Mountain Watershed Association.

This 19-mile trail system is an important part of the local watershed and outdoor recreation network, and it takes ongoing work to keep it clean, safe, and accessible for the community. From litter cleanup to hands-on trail and bridge improvements, projects like these make a real impact.

We were especially honored to receive compliments from the Mountain Watershed Association, recognizing our crew for their hard work and for completing the project ahead of schedule. It’s always rewarding to support organizations that are dedicated to protecting natural resources and improving public outdoor spaces.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back, and we look forward to participating in more efforts that help strengthen and sustain our local environment.
