Finally got around to filming a spark plug video! This one is easier than you think. Of course itās all about the tools! I have some critical tool recommendations. Check out the links to all the tools in the video description. This job is also very nice to do with the service blanket featured in this video. Thereās a ton of stuff you will want to lay out on your trunk and their service blanket will protect your car.
I give this DIY a difficulty rating of: 3.25 out of 10.
Only a few hand tools are needed but care needs to be exercised to avoid stripping threads or if you encounter a seized spark plug. The hardest part is probably unclipping the coil packs, which is not very hard to do. This can be a 5 out of 10 if youāve never done spark plugs before, but overall, itās not hard if you follow the instructions carefully. The right tools will go A LONG way in making sure you have a painless time.
*Difficulty Rating Scale Explanation: I rate my DIYs on a scale of 1-10. 1 requiring minimal effort and little to no tools, such as installing wiper blades replacements. 10 requiring extensive time/effort and requiring many special tools, such as assembling an engine or transmission.
