Congratulations and thank you to Greg Vallone for 25 incredible years with Burton EMS!

Greg is well known at Burton for his dedication, long hours, and incredible knowledge of Surface Mount Technology—especially when it comes to SMT machines. If there’s something to know about surface mount, chances are Greg knows it.

How does he have all that energy to bring the 'A' game everyday? Probably has something to do with his love of sweets and chocolate milk! So, naturally, we celebrated 25 years with a W***y Wonka-themed cake.

Greg also received a card and a very special anniversary gift: his beloved, but retired PC, SMT-LEAD!

Congratulations to SMT Production Supervisor Ryan Abramson on his 15-year anniversary with Burton EMS!

Ryan officially reached this milestone on June 6, but he was away serving our country on deployment with the Michigan National Guard. We were proud to celebrate his anniversary when he returned to work last week.

Ryan serves with the Michigan National Guard as part of the 1432nd Engineer Company. We are grateful for his 15 years of dedication and leadership at Burton EMS, and we sincerely thank him for his service to our nation.

Congratulations, Ryan, and thank you for all you do both at Burton EMS and in uniform!

Machine Operator John Berto and Test Technician Norman Sandow celebrated milestone work anniversaries at Burton EMS this week!

We recognized John for 15 years with the company with a Detroit Tigers cake, and Norman chose to celebrate his 5-year anniversary with a sausage and cheese plate! Both also received a card and a special gift in appreciation of their hard work and dedication.

Exciting update! Burton EMS has been awarded the Operation Action U.P. Award of Excellence for our leadership in electronics manufacturing and commitment to growing Michigan's Upper Peninsula economy.
We were honored at the annual meeting on February 12 at NMU in Marquette. This award recognizes our innovation, workforce training, and community impact with 70 team members strong in Ironwood and more exciting things ahead!
