It's never too soon to teach kids about safety! We were thrilled to support SC Career Kids today at Irmo Elementary School for a Safety Town event. SCNSC staff was on hand to teach kids about objects or activities that might distract them when they're riding bikes or scooters—or adults driving cars.

Yesterday our crew headed to Seneca Senior High School for a day of hands-on safety training with the Oconee County Sheriff's Office - SC Young drivers experienced simulated impairment and interacted with law enforcement, having fun while learning how to make good choices.

Students at Wren High School learned first hand about the dangers of alcohol and drug impairment. Wearing special goggles that simulate a high blood alcohol level, they struggled to walk—and even stand! Along with local law enforcement, our instructors showed them how to make better decisions behind the wheel.
