Kinda nice being Kaleb Cole shop hand !!!! Grateful that he is teachable and of coarse give credit were credit is due !!! After many discussions we have found that he enjoys the metal fab and body coming together and has the passion like I did in my 20's so with that being said she now comes back to the ol man for assembly!!!! Good mid morning Facebookers!!! Talk about Gods blessings and joy !!! Wow just wow
So I have decided for this half way point I'd like to take you back , but not only back to this build but all the way back to what the owners of this amazing ride shared. Gratitude when you all share with us for sure.
" It was the summer of 1962 August, I was 14 years of age and going into my freshman year of high-school. She had a 327 ci small block chevy with 2 4barrel carbs!!!! My parents were crazy to let a kid have such a bomb!!! In 1962 you could have a license at 14."
As I sneak up on 32 years in the industry and the back side of 14 years as a owner operator I find myself slowing down a bit to enjoy the conversation and yes story time with people ( customers) . 64 years this family has owned this car !!! I can today wrap my mind around the time , places , people , trials of life that it takes just keeping something meaningful all them years means . What the family them selves have made it threw and become. Heck the gratitude that a couple that we'll he waited tell he was 78 years of age to pull this beauty out of the barn and trust us to bring a dream back to life for the whole family to enjoy.
To the team that makes these builds come alive I cant thank you enough and to the families that trust us to do what we love our Gratitude .
That is Kaleb with an eye injury threw the build sometimes we have to laugh threw the pain !! My amazing and beautiful bride helping with upholstery!!

What is up Facebookers!!! So God shows up and shows out . Apparently we needed a few days off the big builds sometimes I forget that we all have skill sets in multiple areas. Gotta give it to Kaleb Cole for showing me easier and faster ways for some of the new stuff!!! These two are painted and will be back together tomorrow so back to the rods we will go !!! What is up Facebookers!!!! The history of these rides is so cool sometimes. Yes the money , the build , the finished job all that is cool but imagine for a second driving around April 1974 in your 1971 buick looking threw your moon roof at all Gods beauty..... sometimes its the most random tear down finds that make us grateful to put them back out on the road !!!! Fiiiiinnnnnaaaallllly Friday !!!!! In the words of Gramps " can you handle that or do I need to find someone that can " words like that are what build Men. They challenge to build a skill set or multiple skill sets. Most days its nose to the grind stone around here building something but today I thought about BA'S words of do something for me one day a week so decided to drag the ol DR out, turn up some tunes, and spend time with God. What I have learned threw the years is all work is as important as the other and sometimes a man needs a break from the build build build . We will update next week as we continue to build !!!
