Biker next to the road:

So it is said: Never leave a brother or sister behind..... Well then, what does this mean?

You're riding your bike on the highway and suddenly you realize there is something wrong with your bike, so you stop and take a look.... You realize that you can't ride any further and need help. Now what will you do? You will phone a friend for help? But you find your phone battery is flat. No way to call for help. Now you are stuck.

Cars pass you by, and even other bikes. How will you signal that you actually need help?

There is a way known by bikers: Take your helmet and place it about 2 meters behind your bike, in clear view, but out of the road. Other bikers passing will see this and know you are in need of assistance. This is a general signal amongst bikers.

And when you pass a biker standing next to the road, and you see the helmet is placed behind the bike, STOP AND ASSIST!! You do not leave a brother or sister behind!!! Even if you cannot assist in getting the bike going again, you stil stop! Maybe you can phone for assistance. Stay with the brother/sister until help arrives. They call that Brotherhood and Sisterhood!

This should be known by all bikers, it should be told to every person riding a bike.
