Recently at the car wash, I’ve had problems with the long trucks who have trailer hitches on the back hitting the spray arch and canceling the wash on them. (Including my own truck, which is a long bed with a trailer hitch). I’ve been trying to make adjustments so that the carriage will go far enough back to keep the spray arch from hitting the hitch as it goes across the back. I am happy to report that extending the physical limit and re adjusting the sonar sensor and proximity switches have given me what I need to accommodate the long vehicles! I would advise that long trucks pull as far forward as they can without hitting the “back up” sensor to give the back end as much space as possible. I’ve run my truck (Silverado 2500 HD with 8’ bed and a hitch) through it with room to spare. Give it a try and be sure to call me if you have a problem. My number is on the paystand as well as the office door. I’ve noticed several people who had their wash canceled and never called me. If you’re one of those people, give me a call!
As always, thank you for your patronage!
