The Forge

The Forge The Forge's greatest joy is working with its customers. They also enjoy the benefits from the lower overhead environment compared to both coasts.

They enjoy coming to the shop at Loveland which is conveniently located just 45 minutes from the Denver International Airport. They enjoy driving their cars on the sparsely traveled, winding foothill and dramatic canyon roads, which are in Loveland's backyard. The work performed is often at a significant savings compared to other high profile shops. We are enriched by our customers' varied experie

nces and backgrounds. They range from the first time hot rod owner to major collectors who are rounding out their collections with an historic or period correct car to high performance enthusiasts. As a customer, you will have access to vintage speed equipment and period accessories which other shops cannot offer. You will enjoy a cordial working relationship with all members of the staff, and you will take pride in the finished result for many years.

After 24 some odd years of being a professional metal shaper panel be**er, I'm going to try something else for a bit. I have been fortunate to work with some great people. Life long friends, and a lot of great projects over the years. I will still work on projects but just not in a professional setting.

Not all projects go as planned! due to the fact I pulled the layout tape off the wrong hood side last week and didn't double check, the louvers I punched last week were not the ones the customer wanted. I ended up redoing the layout and remade the panels. I used the hinge portion from the Rootlib hood and welded it on to the new side's after I punched the other louvers and wired the edge. Now my trial and error wall has a few more samples.

I finally got around to finishing up my portion of the build on this 32 sedan. the sedan came out of Nebraska and was originally chopped in the mid 60's. I took another 1/2" out of top to clean up the chop, I really like a wedge chop on a sedan. traditional original frame with upgraded x member, and the standard rust repair plus floor pans. #1932
