Check out this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro powered by a Pat Musi 565c.i. big block Chevy! This restomod is packed with a lot of great upgrades including an FB Racing 4R70W transmission, a Holley Terminator X standalone EFI management system, every Detroit Speed suspension component, LED taillights, and custom three-piece Forgeline wheels with a fat 335 rear tire. This car recently came in for a list of repairs & upgrades. To start (literally), this car needed a new starter & flexplate. We replaced the existing flexplate with a billet steel PRW flexplate and paired it with a 400 series Meziere High Torque Starter. While the car was here we also repaired the custom-fabricated oil pan, replaced the rear main seal, wrapped the headers, flushed the cooling system, repaired some wiring, and fixed miscellaneous leaks. For upgrades, we installed a set of Holley Retrobright LED headlights, replaced the steering column with a Flaming River tilt column, installed some Morris Classic 3-Point Seatbelts, and installed matching key tumblers. Once all repairs and upgrades were complete, we strapped this big block behemoth to the dyno to measure the rear wheel horsepower & torque. This naturally aspirated 565c.i. BBC put down 582 RWHP and a staggering 806 lb/ft. of RWTQ! Whether you want to do some knarly burnouts, go for a nice sunday cruise, be a show stopper, or set great times at the drag strip, this car will do it all!
