🏁 SUNDAY OVAL & FIGURE 8 RACE RECAP! 🏁

Another Sunday night of racing is in the books at Indy RC Raceway!

Tonight brought out 21 drivers making 43 entries across 6 classes, and when it was all said and done, we logged 6,808 race laps!

🔥 Losi NASCAR
This one came down to the wire! Jason Bothwell started 3rd and worked his way to the front, taking the A-Main win with 67 laps. Chris “CJ” Foster III was right there at the finish, just 2.158 seconds back. Jason also laid down the fastest lap of the main at 5.076 seconds, while CJ put together an incredibly consistent 98.41% run.

🔥 Slash Street Stock
Josh Waltz made a charge from 4th on the grid to take the win! Josh and Chris Rittenberry both completed 72 laps, separated by only 3.626 seconds at the finish. Jerri Moss rounded out the top three. TQ Chris “CJ” Foster III finished 4th but showed plenty of raw speed, laying down a 4.495-second fast lap.

🔥 Losi Late Model
Dave Cook Jr. was the man to beat in Late Model, putting together a commanding 77-lap A-Main run and finishing four laps ahead of Tim Creech.

🔥 Losi Sprint
Make it TWO wins for Dave Cook Jr.! Dave completed 75 laps to grab the Sprint victory, with Jerri Moss taking second. A Late Model/Sprint double makes for a pretty good Sunday night!

🔥 Sportsman RTT
Kenny Kiger got the job done from the TQ position, converting the top qualifying spot into an A-Main victory with 62 laps in 5:00.063. Paul Welches finished second, one lap behind.

💥 FIGURE 8 — RACE OF THE NIGHT?! 💥
After more than SIX MINUTES of Figure 8 chaos, Dalton Conner and Bradee Marcum were separated by just 1.833 seconds!

Both drivers completed 54 laps, with Dalton getting to the line first. Chris “CJ” Foster III completed 51 laps to round out the podium.

That’s about as close as it gets in Figure 8!

🏁 HAVE YOU SEEN THE NEW INDY RC WEBSITE?

Our website redesign was long overdue—but we wanted to build something far beyond a basic racetrack website.

The all-new IndyRCRaceway.net is live, and it includes some seriously powerful new features!

📊 DRIVER PROFILES + CAREER RACING STATS
https://indyrcraceway.net/records -stats

Search for yourself or your racing buddies and explore compiled Indy RC statistics, including:

🏆 Race nights
🥇 A-Main wins
🏅 A-Main podium finishes
⚡ TQs
📈 Past points-series results
…and more!

We’re still fine-tuning some of the historical data, but seeing years of Indy RC racing history collected into individual driver profiles is already incredibly cool!

📍 LOCAL RC CLUBS + TRACKS DIRECTORY
https://indyrcraceway.net/local-clubs

We gathered as many local and regional RC tracks and clubs as we could remember to help racers discover more places to enjoy the hobby. We aren’t perfect, though—and we may have missed some!

If you know of a track or club that should be included, please let us know.

🟢 KNOW WHAT’S HAPPENING AT INDY RC
https://indyrcraceway.net/ -now

The new site makes it easier to see what’s happening now, what’s coming up next, when each track layout is available, and when the next race program begins.

And we aren’t finished! We’ll continue adding new information, statistics, tools, and features over time.

What would YOU like to see added?

Visit the new website, look up your driver profile, and explore everything we’ve built:
