FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Jimmie Phelps Expands Mission Impossible Racing
Competition Suspension Inc. (CSI) is proud to announce that longtime team member Jimmie Phelps is stepping away from full-time employment with CSI to pursue his own business venture, Mission Impossible Racing.
Mission Impossible Racing will operate as a full-service CSI Shock dealer and rebuilder, offering customers the same high-level service they have come to expect from Jimmie over the years. In addition to shock service and sales, Mission Impossible Racing will also provide chassis set-up consultation, driver coaching, and race-winning technical support for teams across the country.
“Jimmie has been an important part of CSI and the Quarter Midget community,” said CSI’s Garrett Andrews. “We’re excited to see him broaden his horizons and build something of his own while continuing to support the racers and families he has worked with for years.”
While Jimmie transitions into his new role, his relationship with CSI remains strong. He will continue to play an integral role in the development of CSI Quarter Midget products, helping ensure that racers benefit from continued innovation and trackside insight.
What This Means for Customers
Customers will continue to receive the same high level of service and support they expect from CSI.
• If you have worked with Jimmie in the past and wish to continue doing so, you can now ship your shocks directly to him at Mission Impossible Racing for service and support. Mission impossible Racing 8229 Indy Lane, Indianapolis, IN 46214 (614) 519-9825
• If you have traditionally worked with Garrett or another CSI team member, you can still send your Quarter Midget shocks directly to CSI for service, revalve, or repair.
Both CSI and Mission Impossible Racing remain committed to helping racers find speed and confidence on the track.
Looking ahead, Jimmie will continue working alongside CSI at select Quarter Midget events throughout 2026 and beyond, ensuring that racers still have access to the combined knowledge and support of both programs.
CSI wishes Jimmie the very best as he launches this exciting new chapter, and we look forward to continuing our partnership in helping racers perform at their highest level.
