From White Knuckle Driving to Cross-Country Confidence
Just days after purchasing a 2013 Ram 2500 to tow a motorcycle trailer across the country, the owner decided to invest in some preventative maintenance and new tires at a national chain repair shop.
After a $5,000 repair bill, he was informed that additional front-end work was still needed. The truck was then taken to a local repair shop where another $3,500 was spent. Unfortunately, the truck still wasn't right.
The owner described the driving experience as "white knuckle driving” and returned the truck to the shop the very next day. After keeping the truck for another week, the shop charged an additional $3,500 and yet the problem remained unresolved. At that point, the customer no longer felt the truck was safe to drive.
