Fast forward many years to 1984, the very same Rick - his dinosaur friends now long gone - came up with the idea behind Cycle Outfitters. Having spent the previous few decades
building, fixing and designing motorcycles; working for race teams, advising manufacturers, and designing components. Rick left it behind, now gunning for the civilian market - the street enthusiast. Certain of his focus, Rick flung open the doors of Cycle Outfitters Limited. Since that day, some 30 plus years ago, Cycle Outfitters has maintained a passion for advising, accessorizing and maintaining all types of motorcycles. In addition to the products we sell, we also offer while-you-wait service for most of your maintenance needs. Started by riders for riders, rest assured that the products in our building come from reputable brands, are backed by great warranties, and are used daily by the very same people recommending it to you. We aren't a discount warehouse, we don't stock any "house brands", and we don't mark product prices high then slash them down to make you feel like a winner. Instead, we believe customers value our knowledge and experience, the quality products we offer, our flexible hours, and our service department, making us the best value available for the gear and services you desire. Since our inception, we have only offered recognizable brands that have served and supported the motorcycle industry for years, avoiding many of the in-house brands offered by others. Because there is nothing worse then having a broken visor, or a defective jacket, etc. in the middle of your long awaited trip, only to find that parts are not available anywhere on your route, except from the place you originally purchased it from. It is true that quality remains long after price has been forgotten and we attribute much of our success over the past 34 plus years to that commitment.
