Tomorrow's race is canceled 😢 We have so much ponding water at the bottom of the track and the entire parking/field is a swamp.

Weather is just not in favor of any race track around here this year.

We are tentatively rescheduling for next Sunday July 19th.... weather pending of course.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported our Opening Day at Helman Drag Racing, LLC!

Despite the light rain in the morning, the weather turned into a beautiful day. We truly appreciate all of the racers, families, spectators, volunteers, and sponsors who helped make the day a success.

A very special thank you to The Passmore Family for generously sponsoring the trophies for our six kids' classes. Your support helps us recognize and encourage the next generation of racers, and we are incredibly grateful.

We hope everyone had a great time, traveled home safely, and made some great memories. We can't wait to do it all again!

We'll see everyone back at the track in 2 weeks for our next race.

🏁🚦We are planning on racing tomorrow 6/28!
There's a slight change of scattered showers very early morning and late afternoon(45% chance) but it's not looking like anything but a light brief rain IF it even rains. 2 weeks ago it showed severe storms all day and we didn't get a drop until after 7pm.

⭐️ We are going to try to have a practice run tomorrow. This will be done a little different than we've done in the past.
Practice Run Details:
✅️ Practice time 1030a-1130a with drivers meeting following at 1145am.
✅️ Each Rider will get 1 practice run ONLY.
✅️ We will not be doing practice runs any other race. Those practice runs dry the track out and have the track all rutted up before we even start racing. It's too time consuming to have to rewater when we are racing against the "daylight" clock or weather coming in.

⭐️So, we will run practice on opening day ONLY.

If your are wanting to do a practice run, please get here and get registered. Registration will close at 1130. and reopen after the drivers meeting for late entries.

In the event weather takes a turn for the worst over night, I will update the page. I will watch the 11p and 6am weather radar.

Please be sure to check the page for any final weather update at 6am.
