On Wednesday, February 6, 2019 deputies with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office assisted by the Federal Bureau of Investigations Child Exploitation Task Force served a search warrant at 513 Sagebrush Lane, Belton Missouri as part of an ongoing child po*******hy and child enticement investigation.

Authorities arrested Kenneth T. Mize, 36, Belton at the residence.

Kenneth T. Mize, a registered s*x offender in Cass County, was charged by the Cass County Prosecutor’s Office with 2 counts of Failure to Register as S*x Offender for failing to register an online account and email address. Mize had previously registered as a s*x offender in October 2018 at the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and must notify the Sheriff’s Office in person within 3 business days of any change to include vehicles, temporary lodging information, temporary residence information, email address, instant messaging address, and any other designations used in internet communications, postings, or telephone communication.

Mize is currently in custody at the Cass County Jail and is held on a $100,000.00 cash only bond.
