New LS long blocks from Chevrolet Performance offer builders all the performance capabilities of the complete crate engines, but at a lower cost and with fewer components, for those who want to finish off their engine with their own intake manifold and other accessories. Three new long-block assemblies are available:

LS3 (P/N 19420382) — Based on the production LS3 engine, the engine uses L92-style rectangular-port heads to produce 430 hp and 425 lb-ft. with the production intake manifold and other accessories.

Chevrolet Performance's new ls427/570 builds on the track bred performance of the LS7 engine and enhances it in two important ways: More power and easier installation. A new, higher lift camshaft helps it produce 570 horsepower and 540 lb. ft. of torque increases of 65hp and 70 lb. ft. over the production based LS7 crate engine. Additionally, a new wet sump oiling system facilitates easier and less costly installation, because the supporting components for the production based LS7's dry sump system are not required.

Chevrolet Performance engineers have developed the LS364/450 as a value driven foundation for hot rod builders and enthusiasts looking to give their earlier LS powered vehicles a high performance shot in the arm.

Starting with a strong, economical iron cylinder block and durable rotating assembly, the LS 6.0L features the high lift LS6 camshaft and the deep breathing LS3 aluminum cylinder heads. It's a strong combination with exceptional horsepower and a brad torque band. It is also fuel injection capable, using production based components offered in this catalog.

The LS364/450 is designed with the early style 24X crankshaft and 1X camshaft sensors, enabling easier retro fit installation in early LS powered vehicles, including 1998-2002 Camaros, C5 Corvette, 1999-2006 full size trucks and SUVs, and other LS vehicles.

We offer the LS 364/450exclusively as a long block assembly, without the induction system, ignition system or front end accessory drive system, allowing builders to transfer components from their early LS powered vehicle or complete a custom build with the components of their choice. An intake manifold that matches the LS3/L92 style rectangle intake ports is required.

No matter which vehicle you drop the LS364/450 into, its combination of horsepower and value will push your project vehicle to the next level of performance!

Chevrolet Performance's First Fuel-Injected ZZ Small Block

The ZZ6 Turn Key crate engine offers modern performance balanced with traditional style that looks period perfect in your vintage Chevy!

Chevrolet Performance engineers adapted a unique, electronically controlled port fuel injection system to the ZZ6 350, using an aluminum intake manifold that has the appearance of a carbureted intake. A fuel injection throttle body mounted in place of the carburetor allows a traditional air cleaner to be installed on the engine.

The ZZ6 also features cylinder heads based on the proven Fast Burn design, with large intake runners and 2.00/1.55 inch valves, along with beehive-style valve springs enable greater high rpm performance and durability. It alson uses an aggressive hydraulic roller camshaft that supports the engine's high rpm airflow capability while maintaining excellent low speed drivability.

A simple plug and play control system rounds oth the package to get the engine running in your project without the need for third party tuning.

Our Turn-Key crate engine kit inludes the distributor and damper installed, with the throttle body, starter, fuel pump, air conditioning pump, alternator, single-belt Front End Accessory Drive Kit and more also included.

6.2 LS3/430Hp Engine

The LS3 6.2L is the 430-hp standard engine in the Chevrolet Corvette and is a fantastic combination of high technology and uncompromising performance. Our LS3 crate engine comes complete, from the CHEVY SS oil pan to the ignition system. It also includes the EFI intake manifold assembly with injectors and throttle body, exhaust manifolds, water pump, balancer, 58X reluctor wheel, and 14-inch automatic-transmission flexplate.

Inside, the LS3 is filled with components designed for high performance and longevity. The aluminum block is filled with a sturdy reciprocating assembly that combines with L92 type rectangular port heads to deliver a 10.7:1 compression ratio. A high-lift, hydraulic roller camshaft delivers a whopping 0.551-inch of lift on the 2.16-inch intake valves and 0.522-inch lift on the 1.59-inch exhaust valves, enhancing the LS3's tremendous airflow and broad torque curve.

The automatic SuperMatic 4L70-E 2WD transmission is designed to complement any performance rear wheel drive application with exceptional strength and the shift characteristics enthusiasts want. Stronger version than the production based 4L60-E, features five pinion gear sets, heat treated stator shaft splines, seven plate clutch, and more. It is also capable of handling increased horsepower and torque.
