Schneider, Gunn Score Hindsight Hustle Wins as Fantasy Cup Looms at PPMS (Full Write Up Results)
The 2026 Hindsight Hustle, sponsored by 20/20 Landscaping & Tree Service, is officially in the history books after a huge night of racing and fireworks at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway.
Headlining the action were twin 20-lap features for the Rohrich Parts Center/Chevrolet Performance RUSH Late Models, with qualifying, seven heat races, five feature events, and an awesome fireworks show filling out the night.
Christian Schneider (56), from Pittsburgh, captured the first Rohrich Parts Center/Chevrolet Performance RUSH Late Models feature, while Jake Gunn (14G), from Coraopolis, raced to victory in the second 20-lap feature.
Trent Marshall (17), from Smicksburg, took the checkered flag in the RUSH Wingless Sprint Car feature.
AJ Poljak (36), from Baldwin, powered his way to victory in the Kehm Oil Penn Ohio Pro Stock feature.
David Seibert Jr. (777) closed out the feature winners with a victory in the Crawford Auto Repair SCDRA Four Cylinder feature.
A strong field of 24 Rohrich Parts Center/Chevrolet Performance RUSH Late Models was on hand to battle it out in twin 20-lap features during the 2026 Hindsight Hustle.
Following hot lap qualifying, the field was split into three heat races, with the top four finishers from each heat advancing to the redraw for the first feature.
The winner of feature number one would then spin the Wheel of Misfortune in victory lane to determine the invert for the second 20-lap feature.
Tommy Schirnhofer Jr. (8) started on the pole for the first feature with Matthew Benard (15), from Oakdale, alongside him in second.
Clinton Hersh (16), from Somerset, started third with Christian Schneider (56), from Pittsburgh, starting fourth.
When the green flag flew, Schirnhofer jumped out to the early lead with Schneider settling into second.
Schirnhofer controlled the opening six laps before Schneider made his move and took over the top spot on lap seven.
Lapped traffic soon came into play for the leaders, and Schneider used it to his advantage to build a comfortable lead over the rest of the field.
Benard worked his way past Schirnhofer for second, dropping Schirnhofer back to third, but neither driver had anything for Schneider as he drove away with the victory.
Benard finished second, Schirnhofer crossed the line third, Daryl Charlier finished fourth, and Hersh rounded out the top five.
Heat race victories went to Tom Klein, Philip Bubeck, and Christian Schneider.
In victory lane, Schneider spun a six on the Wheel of Misfortune, inverting the top six finishers and putting Jake Gunn (14G), from Coraopolis, on the pole for feature number two.
Hersh started alongside Gunn in second, while Charlier and Schirnhofer made up the second row in third and fourth.
At the start of the second feature, Gunn wasted no time jumping out to the lead and quickly began putting distance between himself and the rest of the field.
Just like the first feature, lapped traffic became a factor early, but Gunn continued stretching his advantage as the laps clicked away.
The second feature also went caution-free, allowing Gunn to cruise all the way to the checkered flag for the win.
Charlier finished second, Hersh came home third, Benard finished fourth, and Schneider completed the top five.
Gale Ruth Jr. (24), from Pleasantville, started on the pole for the 15-lap RUSH Wingless Sprint Car Series feature with Lucas Rossner (213), from Seneca, alongside him in second.
Cooper Macomac (7), from Knox, started third with Trent Marshall (17), from Smicksburg, starting fourth.
When the green flag flew, Ruth Jr. jumped out to the early lead with Marshall moving into second and John Mollick settling into third.
Marshall made his move on lap three, taking over the top spot from Ruth Jr.
With the race going green to checkered in record fashion, Marshall led the remaining 12 laps and raced to the victory.
Ruth Jr. finished second, Wyatt Long crossed the line third, Rossner finished fourth, and Samantha Priest rounded out the top five.
Heat race victories went to Lucas Rossner and Gale Ruth Jr.
In the 15-lap Kehm Oil Penn Ohio Pro Stock feature, Nick Kocuba (10), from Burgettstown, started on the pole with Jason Fosnaught (25), from Tarentum, alongside him in second.
AJ Poljak (36), from Baldwin, started third with Adam Kostelnik (25A) starting fourth.
When the green flag dropped, Kocuba grabbed the early lead with Poljak running second and Kostelnik in third.
Poljak soon took over the top spot before the event’s lone caution came out on lap three.
Poljak chose the outside for the restart, and when green replaced yellow, he was shot out of a cannon and quickly pulled away from the field.
Nobody was able to run him down as Poljak cruised to another Kehm Oil Penn Ohio Pro Stock victory.
Kocuba finished second, Fosnaught crossed the line third, Nate Gebauer finished fourth, and Kostelnik rounded out the top five.
The heat race victory went to Nick Kocuba.
Last but not least was the 12-lap Crawford Auto Repair SCDRA Four Cylinder feature, with Tyler Hollister (69), from Bulger, starting on the pole and Hunter Vohn (124), from Beaver, alongside him in second.
David Seibert Jr. (777) started third with Cameron Hollister (44), from McDonald, starting fourth.
When the green flag dropped, Seibert Jr. jumped out to the early lead with T. Hollister following him into second and C. Hollister settling into third.
Seibert Jr. never looked back, leading all 12 laps on his way to another Crawford Auto Repair SCDRA Four Cylinder victory.
C. Hollister finished second, Jacob Chipps (38) crossed the line third, Katlin McDonald finished fourth, and T. Hollister rounded out the top five.

Racing resumes at Dirt’s Monster Half Mile next Saturday, September 5, 2026, with the Dow Carnahan Fantasy Cup bringing some of the fastest and most exhilarating racing of the season to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway.
The FAST on Dirt 410 Sprint Cars will unleash speeds that can top 140 mph around PPMS, combining raw horsepower, lightning-quick acceleration, and incredible momentum into the kind of racing you can feel from the grandstands.
The Fantasy Cup is a special collaboration between Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway and Lernerville Speedway created to honor longtime announcer Dow Carnahan while bringing two of Western Pennsylvania’s most iconic dirt tracks together for one unique competition.
Drivers earn points at both tracks throughout the Fantasy Cup, with their combined results determining who ultimately claims the championship.
That means every position matters as drivers battle not only for the win at PPMS, but also for valuable points toward the overall Fantasy Cup title.
The FAST on Dirt 410 Sprint Cars headline a loaded night of racing that also includes the RUSH Late Models, Penn Ohio Pro Stocks, Hobby Stocks, Young Guns, and Crown Vics.
From the first green flag to the final checkered flag, the Dow Carnahan Fantasy Cup promises a full night of racing capped by the breathtaking speed of the winged 410 Sprint Cars on Dirt’s Monster Half Mile.
