Had a slow rain day today which was good I get a chance to work on my own stuff. Got the casters replaced in my stool, going to get grease in the War Wagon front end. Getting some paperwork squared away, you know the grind. The last couple days I replaced a fuel pump in a ford explorer, did some electrical work on a ford edge, a transmission filter and fluid on a dodge grand caravan. Also did an oil change on a bad boy lawn mower and a can am side by side.

I know it’s been a while been kinda busy, let’s recap what I took photos of! So I got some nice new (repurposed) polos for business events, then coming home from said event I helped a gentleman on the side of I35 with a blown out tire. No call just saw him sitting. Got that nicked out and him on his way to his meeting in Ames. Then we had an 08 Lexus RX350 alternator, oil change, and rear brakes. Found a vacuum line that was deteriorating so I replaced tha. Then Saturday was a Volvo PCV/oil seperator, with a messed up power steering pulley, bad passenger side axel, so we are getting all the parts for that Volvo to get that back up and running. Then yesterday we had a Lincoln MKX with a bad serpentine belt and tensioner, bad sway bar connecting links. A Chevy Silverado with the wrong bulbs in the tail light, and a 2001 Ta**us with a bad starter! Today is brakes on a 2012 Chevy 3500HD, oil change in a side by side and bad boy lawn mower, an oil change class for a friend and valve cover gasket on a 15 Kia Optima. Man it’s a packed day! Back at it!

Yesterday was making a 2008 Altima with intermittent brake drags brakes look pretty( and also replace the failing driver side caliper)and replacing a fuel filler neck for a gentleman on a 2010 Ford Escape for an evap leak( didn’t fix the problem but we have a solution moving forward) Today was diagnosing stuck front brakes as well as gathering parts for that repair and pad and rotor service. I also started an alternator that’s is QUITE difficult because of the hidden bolt. Once apart I found a nick in the connector that PROBABLY wasn’t the issue but the connector was $20 so why not fix it while your there. Since I had to go get the connector I decided to take the alternator I just got out to have it bench tested to ensure it really was bad and it wasn’t just the connector. Spoiler alert it was bad. So then the rain started wasn’t supposed to stop till after 9pm so we threw everything in the war wagon and said guess ee are doing this tomorrow!

Yesterday was an oil change, blade change, and belt fix on a Huskavarna 4219 zero turn mower. As well as an inspection on Miss B’s 2008 Lincoln MKX. The MKX was in great condition, it just needs sway bar end links and a new serpentine belt set. Also got some new swag!

Today is an EGR valve on a 15 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. It’s hot so I had to set the tent up! Then I think I’m going to do an axel on a 12 Chevy 1500 4X4. And fu***ng the wrecked Malibu!

So the last couple days have been chasing electrical on an Audi A5 due to the serpentine belt coming off while it was running…. We also had an alternator and battery on a 13 Avenger for a child’s getting to school rig. Went ahead and did a safety inspection on it cause you know…. Kids. Then last night was a starter on a Dodge 2500 on the side of the road cause that’s where it stopped! Then this morning was removing a flywheel from an outboard boat motor. Might need a new stator!
