Darin and I had a life changing event on Saturday. Our auto parts store exploded due to a gas leak. The building and contents are a total loss. Darin and I have not made any decisions on the future of the parts store. Darin has worked there since 1980 and has owned it since 1997. To say that that place was his life is an understatement. He had very few days over the last 45 years that he didn’t want to go to work. He loved his customers and helping them with getting their vehicles repaired. We are sad the store is gone but grateful that he got out before the explosion saving his life. We are so thankful to the firefighters that evacuated him in time. Darin already misses his customers who he considered friends. We are so thankful to all of friends and customers who have reached out to us. I know people say this all the time but people reaching out to us and checking on us has meant the world to us. Thank you so much to all that have reached out, prayed for us and to the firefighters.
