Today, we’re celebrating National Franchisee Day—and the local people behind the businesses you know and trust! 🎉

The people taking care of your car aren’t strangers. They’re your neighbors. Their kids attend local schools, they worship in the same churches, shop at the same stores, and support the same community organizations you do.

When you choose a locally owned franchise, you’re doing more than caring for your vehicle—you’re supporting a local family, creating local jobs, and strengthening your community.

Thank you for trusting your local SpeeDee team to keep you moving. We’re proud to live, work, and serve right here alongside you! ❤️

Mr. SpeeDee is sporting a little extra horsepower today! 🧔🔧

He says the beard makes him look more experienced—but we’re pretty sure it just catches the loose nuts and bolts. 😂

Happy World Beard Day from Mr. SpeeDee! 🚗

Meet the Real Slim SpeeDee. He is a former rapper but now works for me as a marketing assistant.
Grand Opening event this Saturday, October 30th.

09/06/2021

We have been in a soft opening mode for about a week (the grand opening is still about a month away). Things are going well. Come by and see us. Oil change specials are in the mail and on website. www.speedeeoil.com/hurst-tx-2084/

The lobby is looking much better. Inventory is arriving daily. Getting very close to initiating a soft opening.

07/30/2021

Although my loan was approved several weeks ago the bank has been incredibly slow and unorganized in getting the closing and funding completed. Despite those frustrations I have been busy with many other aspects of getting things ready to open. Much more things to do than I originally expected. The lobby is progressing well. I should have pictures of the finished lobby in the next few days.

07/16/2021

The top of the wall is done. One more coat of SpeeDee blue and then plenty of cleaning up.

07/06/2021

The lobby needs more work than I first thought. Several areas of sheetrock have damage but it will get done soon.

We are looking to add another member to our team. Don't miss out... apply today!

Company Overview Our first SpeeDee Oil Change opened in December 1980 in Metairie, Louisiana. SpeeDee swiftly grew into a quick l**e and automotive tune-up service business, and by the mid-90s, SpeeDee had added complete brake service and grown to a full-service auto maintenance and repair facility....

06/25/2021

The cleaning and shop set up has started. So much to do but it will all come together soon.
