Possible storms of an invasion are brewing for tomorrow!
LR X Putnam County Fair
Some information needed:
•We are aware of weather. Along with the Putnam Fair team we are watching closely, and will do everything possible to give the best conditions that we can with the circumstances given. Mother Nature is a beast.
•We will make updates throughout the following time leading up to the event on the dirt status, and also if it becomes unmanageable, unsafe, or unfit to compete on prior to anyone arriving.
•The track build is from the ground up. No dirt is hauled in. The advantage of this is that the mud can be moved off once the build starts. Our only enemy will be the rain after the track build has been completed. We are prepared for this, and will tarp what is essential.
•If all is well and we continue with the “INVASION” we may experience brief holds to the event if lightening rolls in during race time. This is for the safety of everyone. Light rain will not stop racing, but in the event of a downpour we will also place a brief hold.
•Please keep in mind that service is limited at the fair, and messages may go unanswered. All info needed is in our posts below. Please scroll down our page to find out info you will need to know.
•This event has grown tremendously, and traffic gets bad. We have no control over traffic. Please try to arrive early, and signups will be cut off at 6. If you’re not in the signup line waiting at 6 p.m. then you will be turned away. We have times to meet on this event, and we try to move as fast as possible.
•This is a cash only event. No cards will be taken during signups. All riders under the age of 18 must have parent or guardian to sign. No exceptions.
