After an amazing 16 years, we’re putting our race program on pause for now because David ran into some eye issues this winter. While it’s a change of pace, we’re looking forward to still being at the track, staying involved, and spending time with all the great friends we’ve made along the way. Grateful for the memories and excited for what’s still ahead; stay tuned to see where our team will be headed next.

Let’s pack the stands

Many of you may have heard that fellow racer Laine Schwehr, driver of the #56 Wissota Late Model, was recently involved in a serious accident. While details are still unfolding, one thing is certain: Laine and his family need our full love and support right now.

To help ease some of their worries and allow them to focus on healing, we’ll be hosting a helmet pass this Saturday night during intermission in the grandstands.

In addition, a care package will be located in the pit concessions with blank cards available for drivers and crew to leave messages of encouragement. Donations of cash, racing gear, or anything you feel might lift their spirits are welcome as well!

Let’s show Laine and his family what this racing community is all about. ❤️ Pack the stands, bring your support, and let’s lift up #56 together! 🏁🏁

In the last 24 hours David and I made the 1400 mile trip to pick up the Car Wash parts to reassemble the machine and hopefully back up and in business by Friday. This was not a Vacation it was an adventure 🤪.

I only wish this is what our car looked like after last night 😢. However we have to much damage to be able to make the trip back to Aberdeen and looks like Casino. We will put Snoop back together and shoot for next weekend. You can control your attitude and effort after that you roll with the punches and we received an uppercut 🤷‍♀️. Big Jimmy should’ve ducked!!

Unloaded at Dakota State Fair Speedway was excited to be back at our hometown track but had a misunderstanding at the gate that turned into a problems with upper management. So in turn our night was cut short. But on the positive side I get to go snuggle my 8th grandchild. Congratulations Taylor and Jordan. See you all tomorrow at Brown County and Sunday at Casino.
