90 hp four stroke Yamaha with less than 200 hours and Coyote trailer with swing tongue and brakes. Two big contributing factors to the performance of the R160 are Robalo’s trademarked Hydro Lift multi-angle hull design and its extended V-plane running surface.

Greetings all,
I would like to provide you with an update regarding the crane issue. A mechanic has assessed the situation and regrettably identified that the head gaskets are damaged, resulting in insufficient compression in the cylinders for the engine to start effectively.
We are presented with two alternatives: a comprehensive engine rebuild or solely replacing the heads to restore the crane's functionality. At present, we are awaiting quotations for both options and will provide updates accordingly.
We have engaged a local crane service company to supply a crane and operator for boat launching starting Monday afternoon. You will receive a notification with the launch schedule to allow for your presence, if required.
We are scheduled to relocate the 16 boats presently housed in the rack building by Thursday evening to accommodate the upcoming rack season. Subsequently, a forklift will be employed to elevate the masts in the following week, facilitating the removal of any boats for maintenance or cleaning.
This timeline allows ample preparation to secure a larger crane rental or arrange for the repair of our existing one to launch the remaining boats.
We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding at this time. Please do not hesitate to reach out should you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you.

Attention All Boaters,

It is with great disappointment that we inform you that due to lack of proper equipment maintenance, the crane used for launching boats has blown a head gasket. We understand that this is an inconvenience for you, but we are currently working on alternative solutions to get your boats launched.

However, please note that the launch will most likely be delayed until mid-May, as we need to bring in another crane. We are doing our best to resolve this issue as soon as possible. We hope you can understand that we take this matter very seriously and that we are working tirelessly to provide the best possible solution.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this difficult time. We apologize for any inconvenience that this will cause you. Thank you for your understanding.

Best Regards,

Adam Coles
