It’s been the week of removing engines. Stan got after it did a CJ five on Tuesday and a GPW on Thursday. 
They’re all stripped down and at the Machine shop I hope these are good engines. It’s getting hard to find them anymore.

1948 cj2A sale.
Restored with a new body, new seats, transmission, transfer case rebuilt , new carburetor new distributor we did a little work on it adjusted  the lifters runs great. This is one we did not restore but it’s a great clean Jeep ready to drive and enjoy. to go through a Jeep and get it to this condition with the parts and what’s been done to this. It would be more than sales price.

Our black Jeep is sold and going through a body color change to the picket gray.
So everything got stripped down to the frame and any shiny black parts on this body needed to be sanded and then Preston shot a coat of epoxy primer and then the paint looks great. Now it’s time to put everything back together

We get a lot of jeeps in that just need a mechanical repairs sometimes it’s just brakes and a tuneup. Some of them everything is wore out and becomes an engine rebuild,transmission transfer case, steering box, King pins, Springs front and rear end rebuilds, carburetor rebuild distributor rebuild, radiator, cleaned out gas tank repaired or new, basically a new drive train but we leave the bodies alone. some of these jeeps are ours. i’m sure I missed a bunch. I don’t always take pictures up a lot of them that come in.
