We offer programs for high school and college students to senior executives. Leadership Greater Huntsville was established in 1987 as a vehicle to develop current and future leaders for our communithy. Each year men and women are selected to participate in programs led by many of the best and brightest in our community. Through LGH our community is assured of a continuing pipeline of educated lead

ers who function as agents of change. By identifying, educating and inspiring leaders to better serve their community, the continued growth and prosperity of our community and region is enhanced. Effective preparation for service is the legacy of LGH.

As Leadership Greater Huntsville celebrates 40 years of developing leaders who strengthen our community, we are excited to spotlight 40 outstanding alumni who embody the impact of our mission. For four decades, LGH has brought together people from across industries, organizations, and backgrounds with one shared goal: to make Greater Huntsville a better place to live, work, and lead.

Today, we want to spotlight Lynne Berry, who was in the very first Leadership Flagship Class! One of our favorite quotes from her story: "LGH creates a kind of family, and many of them will, because of the program, find new ways to work together and with others to make this community a better place. And it encourages vision. Helen Keller once said, 'The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.'"

✨ Legacy Level Social ✨ We had such a great evening celebrating our Legacy Level alumni! It was a wonderful opportunity to gather some of the leaders who have continued to invest in Leadership Greater Huntsville and in the future of our community.

From meaningful conversations to catching up with old friends and making new connections, the evening was a great reminder of what makes our LGH alumni network so special. ❤️

We LOVE a class reunion! ❤️ Tyce Hudson and Brad Flowers hosted a L-32 reunion yesterday evening. We love seeing classmates get back together to reconnect, catch up, and celebrate the friendships and memories made through Leadership Greater Huntsville. 🔥

Today, Leadership Greater Huntsville brought alumni together for a powerful Professional Development Workshop focused on the connection between storytelling and servant leadership. Led by Taddeus McNeal, speaker, trainer, coach, and founder of Mission to Message Academy, participants explored how to turn their personal “why I serve” into a story that connects with others, builds engagement, and inspires action.

The goal wasn’t simply to become a better storyteller—it was to learn how our experiences, purpose, and passion can become catalysts for community engagement, volunteer recruitment, and meaningful leadership.

Participants left with a “servant story” they can put into action at team meetings, community events, civic presentations, and wherever they have an opportunity to invite others into the work of making our community stronger.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and a special thank you to Taddeus for reminding us that the stories we carry can help move people to serve!

We are gearing up to kick off our 2026-2027 LGH Mentor Program! The mentor program is open to all LGH graduates and current class members. Please complete this form if you would like to participate as a mentee or mentor (or both!).

We will announce matches on Friday, September 25th at a breakfast event, so go ahead and mark your calendars! If you cannot attend this event, no biggie! We can e-introduce matches.

Like any other relationship, mentoring relationships take work. We have carefully crafted a six-month-long mentoring program designed to give mentors and mentees the tools they need to succeed and make a lasting impact on one's professional and leadership development.

Time commitment: We ask that you connect with your match at least once a month for six months. If you’re matched in September, that means meeting once a month between October and March. Your monthly meetings can be whatever works best for your schedules—coffee, lunch, virtual chats, or another format that makes it easy to connect.
