BARN FIND. No one had to die to get this one.

This 1970 Mustang Fastback had been sitting on jack stands in my parents garage for 30 years. No front end. Hadn't seen daylight in decades.

Tuesday we finally pushed her out together.

Some things are worth waiting for.

150 hours of story. 22.5 minutes of airtime. That's what television gave him.

Kevin Tetz doesn't skip past anything anymore. The screw ups, the corrections, all of it. That's what the audience actually wants to see and hear, and Kevin delivers.

We traveled south of Nashville to Columbia, Tennessee to sit down with Kevin Tetz at Motor Alley and hear the whole story.

From pursuing a vocal career as a rockstar, to his start in the industry, to television personality, to Paintucation University, Kevin's knowledge of automotive painting is as deep as it gets. What television couldn't show you, this episode does.

EV, Plug In Vehicles, Battery Electric??

Whatever you call it, You can't force feed something that isn't wanted.

Kevin Tetz said it best on the podcast and this car said the rest.

This 1972 Chevelle was one of the first vehicles we had the privilege of working on here at IBF HotRods.

It's as American as it gets.

1951 Willys Jeep. Cleaned up, wired right and running the way it should. This one came in rough and left ready for anything.

Can you have too much horsepower?

849 horsepower. 759 lb ft of torque. This engine was built, installed and sent to the dyno right here out of our shop in Huntington, Indiana. The numbers speak for themselves.

It's badass. There's really no other way to put it.

This 1949 Diamond T came into the shop unfinished and left as something you don't see every day.Big Blower, Exposed Headers, Massive Mickey Thompsons and that Deep Army Green that just works on every single panel of this thing.

This is the kind of build that makes people pull over and stare. Built right here in Huntington, Indiana.

Almost every tool in the shop went into building this one rocker panel for the 1965 Buick Riviera. Bead roller, English wheel, finger brake, stomp shear, Beverly shear, slip roller, hammer and dolly, and of course we can't forget a welder.

To a lot of people it's just a piece of metal but there's so much more to it.

This bumper started as a stock 1967 C10 bumper. We redesigned it from scratch to incorporate the grille opening and make it our own.

Every cut and weld was intentional to give the front end a custom look that flows together as one piece.
Fog lights are next.

The floor boards were completely rusted out, so we were left with the only option... Give it the IBF HotRods touch...

This 1965 Buick Riviera doesn't have the privilege of having aftermarket parts being stamped out and mass produced... If your aiming for quality for this year the options are limited to say the least.

Always a good day when the bread roller comes out!!

Most people wouldn't have saved this cab. It was literally the only thing left we had to work with.

This truck came to us after another builder dropped the ball. The client thought everything was still with it. It wasn't. All we had was the cab, the frame, powertrain and the wheels.

So we've built the rest.

So much work for details that 90% of the world will overlook and never see...

But it's always worth it!!
