In 2008, we opened an additional seasonal location to make paddling more accessible by offering rentals at Seven Points Marina. The last day of the Huntingdon County Fair is tomorrow 8/15! Don't miss bothering Barrett(not pictured) at out table(pictured) in Kneary Hall. Or, better yet, join us on a ride from the shop to the Demo Derby leaving around 4:45 tomorrow, Sat 8/15! Nothing pairs with a bike ride like skipping traffic and passing cars, making friends with farm animals, eating fair food, and watching cars crash into each other for our entertainment.

Looking to get on the water? Our Lake Shack offers rental kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards directly on Raystown Lake. It is open Memorial Day to Labor Day, Friday-Monday from 10am-6pm. Located next to the 7-Points Public Beach and Oak Pavilion, we offer hourly and daily rates. It can be a high traffic area, but gives nice access to the cliffs for thrill seekers or Twin-Hollows for those looking to get away from traffic and relax close to grills and a more private swimming area.

Not a Wednesday Night Recap, but a ride and forest well worth highlighting none the less. If you like nice smooth gravel, or tight, leafy, steep adventure biking you should be exploring Tuscarora State Forest. Just snag one of the Tuscarora and create your own adventure chasing lizards. Or come talk to Harry for his advice from what little he has explored in his couple 120feet/mile rides.

A few weeks back in the real heat wave, we did something a little different and set a bike shuttle for our ride to include one of the shortest rides we've done, include a paddle portion as well. A combo we hold near and dear to our hearts and history. And something we suggest everyone set up at some point. We didn't get any photos of the ride. So to make up for it, I put in a picture of a sweet little creature I met on a hike. This should hopefully make up for the lack of bikes in the Wednesday Night Recap.

This upcoming Saturday, the 25th, our in-town location will be Closed for the very special event of the wedding of our co-owner, Emil, and our unofficial, unpaid, overachieving sales woman, Taylor. If you were hoping to pick up a kayak or bike that day, call in and we may be able to set up a rental with a lock or work it in on Friday without the charge of an extra day. The Lake Shack will still be open for those looking to get on the water.

We are sorry for the inconvenience but are so excited for these two. Feel free to come in and congratulate them next week after their special day.
