Having the shop near railroad tracks can sometimes be annoying but today we had the chance to see the Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014 thundering through Hummelstown on its return leg of its historic coast to coast run. POSIES shop staff along with most of Hummelstown gathered at the crossings and along the rails to take in this once in a lifetime event. POSIES and his grandson Mason were at the Duke Street crossing with near by.

Due to this weekend’s extreme weather events that seemed to have had Hummelstown as the bullseye, we are operating at a limited capacity. Our phones are working but the shop and shipping dept are closed due to power loss. The power company expects power to be restored tomorrow at some point. We are here to answer any questions concerning SuperSlide Springs and Hot Rod Parts and to take orders though we expect our shipping to be delayed 2-3 days. Wishing the best for our local friends affected by this weekend’s damaging weather.
