Come for the trail. Stay for the stars ✨

BaseCamp sits as the trailhead to the Southwind Rail Trail, making it easy to head out for a ride or walk straight from the property. The trail runs between Humboldt and Iola, linking to the Prairie Spirit Trail in one direction and into Humboldt’s historic square in the other. A winding pathway throughout the BaseCamp property makes it easy for our overnight guests to wander between cabins, the pond, and gathering spaces along the way.

Only five minutes by bike from BaseCamp, Humboldt’s revitalized square is your go-to for coffee at Octagon, brunch at Honeybee Bruncherie, and Parisian-inspired sweets at Bijou Confectionary.

What was once a quiet downtown is now a vibrant destination worth exploring.
