When we say this is NOT the day we had planned... YOU better believe it! Half way thru tower entries... everything went down! Any tracks worse nightmare! Thanks to our local tech/computer guy and a racer who helped out... a few hours later we were running! Not ideal considering the AMAZING TURN OUT we had! Races got started... and then with an unexpected oil down and temp drop...the track fell too short to continue... We SOOO APPRECIATE EVERY SINGLE RACER who stuck it out with us! THANK YOU! Drag Racing is one of thee most UNPREDICTABLE sports! It takes ALOT of dedication and GRIT to see it thru sometimes! WE SEE YOU! Racers, Crew, and SPECTATORS! HOLY COW... Ya'll ran us out of food not once... not twice... BUT 3 TIMES!❤️ And we enjoyed EVERY minute of it! 😉 We have SOOO many people we need to Thank for going above and beyond yesterday... ESPECIALLY Gerald Kramer (Eddyville Raceway) for packing up his system and meeting us more than half way! We OWE YOU BIG! ❤️ We've said before... and we'll say it til our LAST breathe... The Drag Racing Family... is THE BEST FAMILY! 💙💛

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we share the passing of Shirley (Williams) Mortensen. Shirley was not just a smiling face for 39 years at The Humboldt County Dragway, but literally the Matriarch whom kept it going. Beyond her many roles throughout the years... there is no doubt she was the very heart and soul. We want to extend our deepest sympathies to her family, and also thank them for sharing Shirley with so many, for so many years in our Dragracing Family. God Bless you all.🙏🏻
