160,000 cumulative miles 🤯 This new & improved UltraDrive™, redesigned exclusively for Classic DMC by Martin Gutkowski in the United Kingdom, corrects the common failure points and shortcomings of both the original angle drive design - and any reproductions based on it. Assembled at Classic DMC (Texas) of high quality US-made and imported components, these UltraDrives have been bench tested for nearly 8 months now.

Pictured in the upper frame, this bench test includes the stock configuration of upper and lower cables on either side of the lambda counter, whereas the bench test in the lower frame features a one-piece cable. Each with their own differing benefits, inclusion of the lambda counter offers easier installation and use of the one-piece cable removes a potential failure point by eliminating the lambda counter.

The end of a dream? Or is it?

Those are the words written inside the last right hand door to ever be assembled in the DeLorean factory. These writings, added by the factory workers and now affectionately referred to as “cave drawings”, were originally intended as an accountability practice shortly after production began in 1981. Now, more than 40 years later, they serve as a window into the past. The last right hand door, pictured here, is currently on display in the showroom of DMC Texas, as part of the DeLorean Museum collection.
