As National Car Donation Month wraps up, we want to highlight the recent gifting of two cars to two deserving community members in Bakersfield, CA.

At a recent Bakersfield Condors game, a U.S. Army Veteran that previously biked miles to work daily and a young woman nominated by Bakersfield Angels were escorted onto the ice and surprised with vehicles refurbished by Caliber. The vehicles will empower recipients with reliable transportation to get to work daily and achieve professional and educational goals.

Our central Texas teammates recently came together for the annual Caliber bike-building event. The Bluff Bend Caliber Collision location opened up shop on a Saturday and switched gears from repairing vehicles to assembling bikes for over 100 Travis County children. Approximately 600 teammates across Caliber's 32 central Texas locations worked together to donate, assemble and deliver the bikes and bring joy to their communities.

We are proud to see our teammates spreading holiday cheer and showing their commitment to Restoring the Rhythm of Your Life® this season and year-round. 🚲🎁🛠️

Spreading holiday cheer one gift at a time! 🎁

Caliber continues to be a proud sponsor for the Holidays and Heroes program. This week, Caliber teammates in Lewisville, TX came together to donate and wrap gifts for enlisted military families for the 7th consecutive year! We were able to provide presents for a record number of families this year!

December is National Car Donation Month and we are proud of our partnership with the National Auto Body Council (NABC) to support the Recycled Rides® program. Since 2012, Caliber has partnered with the NABC to refurbish vehicles and gift them to deserving members of our communities, empowering them to return to daily activities that matter to them. With the help of Caliber teammates that volunteer their expertise, time and talents, vehicles in like-new condition are presented to active-duty and retired service members, first responders and others in need as part of the Restoring You™ program. 🚗

Last week, Caliber celebrated the graduation of the Changing Lanes Cohort 59 in Fayetteville, NC. Five service members successfully graduated from the 15-week skills training program and have accepted employment at a Caliber location upon transitioning from the military. This week is 10th anniversary of National Apprenticeship Week. Caliber is proud to help contribute to a highly skilled workforce that helps meet the automotive industry needs with the Technician Apprenticeship Program (TAP).

TAP is a free program that provides hands-on auto body technician training with an experienced technician mentor in a live Caliber Collision center setting. Apprentices are surrounded by a purpose-driven, team-driven culture that supports them to reach their full potential. This program comes at no-cost and participants earn competitive wages during training with the potential to earn $70,000+ upon completion.
