To all of my friends, family, customers, and supporters of Vertical Detail,
I want to apologize for being so quiet over the last year.
To say this past year has been difficult would be an understatement. It has honestly been the hardest year of my life. I've spent much of the year dealing with multiple health issues and injuries, including torn rotator cuffs and other challenges that forced me to step away and focus on recovery.
At the same time, my family has faced some heartbreaking battles. My father has undergone three heart surgeries in the last year and has been diagnosed with two different cancers that we are fighting together. We also lost my step-sister far too soon, and I had to say goodbye to my best friend, Moose, after 16 incredible years together.
These events have changed my perspective and forced us to make some major life decisions. My family and I have chosen to move to Muskegon to be closer to family and, most importantly, closer to my dad so we can continue this fight together.
Because of this move, I will no longer be detailing in the Hudsonville area.
The good news is that Vertical Detail is coming back home. Starting July 1st, we will be serving the Muskegon Lakeshore area, including Grand Haven, Muskegon, Twin Lake, Whitehall, Montague, Fruitport, Norton Shores, and surrounding communities. We will be based in the Apple Avenue/Mill Iron area.
I'm excited to get back to doing what I love, but I ask for a little patience as I work my way back into a regular schedule. I'm still recovering and adjusting to a lot of life changes, so appointments and availability may look a little different at first.
Thank you to everyone who has checked on me, supported my family, prayed for us, and continued to support Vertical Detail through everything. Your kindness has meant more than you'll ever know.
I'm looking forward to seeing old customers again, meeting new ones, and building Vertical Detail back up one vehicle at a time.
