Lyndsey & Carson are in town for a few days, Carson's standing there wondering what the heck Grandpa is doing to this truck. Lol. got most the frame all painted and bedlined so I can pickup the box tomorrow from Hawkeye Community College Collision, get it set back on and bolted down. I can finish what I have left with the box on from underneath on the hoist. Just about finished..

I also need to send out a big Thank you to Jason Krueger for getting the frame all blasted and touching up my left cab corner while the box was off. Outstanding job done by Jason as well, now I need to finish painting the frame so I can get the box back on.

Terry sent me a few more pictures of the box today, they got all the Cavity Wax sprayed inside the box sides, they got the under side of the wheel wells spray in bedliner, and the taillights back in the box. A very busy Saturday, I went and picked up the Silverado from the sand blaster the other day and started painting the frame with (DTM Direct to metal Zero Rust Paint) painting with a brush, can't use a paintgun anymore. Mark came this morning and started to hook up the Vintage air in the 59 Biscayne, I helped him just when he needed an extra pair of hands. Thanks Mark, After he finished on that I got the rearend cover delivered today, so I removed the 70 elcamino cover and drained the rearend grease and replaced the cover and filled that with grease, I'll be able to start driving that very soon.

Been working on the 70 Elcamino SS 454, I had a kit put in the Q-jet, Thanks Dean, I put rear axle bearings, seals, and posi-traction l**e and rearend 75-90 gear oil l**e in it. Checked all the wheel cylinders & calipers for leaks, all good and replaced the master cylinder. Thanks to Terry for helping me bleed the brakes. I need to put the dash pad back in yet and clean it up.
