3D race fans, please help spread the word. We have a great opportunity to drive a fast, safe and reliable car at what has been one of the best east coast endurance races for the past few years. For rent is an ITR BMW for the NJMP "Devil in the Dark." The race is April 26th with testing on April 25th. The car is very fast with multiple race wins in the very competitive northeast SCCA ITR and Pro-It series. The car will be professionally prepped by 3D Autoworks trained and certified BMW mechanics and race track support will be from 3D Racing's experienced and well prepared crew. We are offering the rental as a complete arrive and drive package and expect that this car with the right driving team will compete for the overall podium in this race. Big news for our first post of 2014! Plans are coming together for 3D Racing to enter 2 cars in this year's NJMP "Devil in the Dark" 12 hour race. April 26th we're rolling out the big guns with the orange car in T1 trim and a very strong driver line-up that will be anchored by team drivers Dave Maynard and Brandon Bogart. We'll also be entering the 3D Racing prepared and supported, race and championship winning ITR car of Rob Breault. Things are coming together fast and with these two cars we expect to fight for class and overall wins. Race recap from Friday.
We WON!! Dave Maynard put in an amazing drive to give 3D Racing almost a 2 lap lead by halfway and after a strong pit stop second team driver Brandon Bogart continued the fast laps to bring the win home by a significant margin. We would like to thank our fellow competitors for their efforts and making it a good race. Mig and Ratchethead racing and Eric Heinrich in particular gave us a good run for the win and put together awesome efforts.

As always winning an enduro is a team win. First thanks go to the guys at 3D Autoworks who always do an amazing job prepping the car. Dan Maynard, Stefan Foord, Marc Lebrun and Anthony DiCecca are probably the best team of BMW technicians in the Northeast and gave 3D Racing an awesomely prepped race car. Also awesome job to our race-day crew. Anthony DiCecca, Jon Lee and Kevin Stromski did a great job not only crewing for our car during the race but also helping fellow competitors with fueling and tire changes. We had an excellent pit stop with fuel, driver change, and 4 tires that was key to us keeping our lead and bringing home the win. Additional special thanks go out to the fans who showed up to support us. Ashlee Demarco, Peter Freer, Stephanie Clements, Him Fagerquist Maureen Murdoch and Nick Eudenbach added extra support an incentive to bring home the checkers.

It was a great way to end the 2013 season (probably) and now we look forward to big plans for 2014. Continue to watch here to see what comes next!

Update: 3D Racing is fully prepped and ready for Friday's BMW club endurance race at NHMS. Unfortunately it looks like after 3D Racing's announcement that we were running in the NHMS enduro the other competitors were too scared to enter and the event was canceled due to lack of entries. Luckily the BMW Club had a back up plan and they replaced the 3 hour with a 90 minute enduro. We'll be running the 90 minute race, same car and same team so we look forward to the competition. Race starts at 4PM on Friday, race updates to follow and as always all support is appreciated.

The new 3D Racing rig. More pics to come but we are excited for our new long haul rig. Trailer holds 3 cars with an external liftgate, big diesel generator, heat and AC and tons of cabinets for everything we want to bring to the track. We can even fit our RZR support vehicle. We have one spot available for race support for 2014 SCCA events and are available for transport and support services for other events in 2014.

It's official. 3D Racing is wrapping up the 2013 season by WINNING the inaugural running of the BMWCCA club endurance series at NHMS. The race is October 18th (yes a Friday) and will run from 3PM to 6PM. We are entering the orange car and putting in team drivers Dave Maynard and Brandon Bogart to bring home the goods. The BMW club has opened the race up to non-BMW's so we look forward to the expanded competition and a good race. As always we are welcoming all fans and are happy to facilitate up close viewing and insider's view of the action for anyone who can make it up to support the team. We'll have more info soon but mark the date and we'll see you there.

New custom 3D Racing splitter adds to the aero updates for the E46. We'll be testing these new updates along with a couple others at NHMS next weekend in anticipation of Dave Maynard doing the SCCA sprint races over the weekend. Look for the T1 record to fall even farther!
