Hello all! It feels strange to be making a post this morning on here as I have not made a post since August 15th. I have done only 2 details since that date and they have been in the past 2 weeks. I have been debating rather or not to make a post but I feel I owe it to everyone to keep you all informed.
After yesterday’s job I have decided to take the rest of the winter off from detailing. 2021 was a very strange year for everyone and it taught me a lot about running a business on your own and operating one as well…in the beginning of August I hit a wall and got so overwhelmed with everything from the business, to work around the house, to my full time job, to being a full time dad that It just took the fun out of something that I once enjoyed. I would get home from work go inside to get washed up before heading into the garage to work on a vehicle and my boys would both be hanging off me begging me not to go out there, to go outside with them or take them fishing, etc…this broke my heart on multiple occasions when I had to turn them away for a “hobby”.

As most that know me personally know that we just added a new member to the family 9 days ago, our beautiful daughter Meredith made her appearance so again my attention has been on her and the past couple months we have been preparing for her appearance.
This hobby of mine that I love to do has became another full time job and I have learned with these kids, your time is truly all you have…it is so so valuable.
I have a few gift certificates out and of course they are still good, I would NEVER not honor any service that has been paid. I will be reaching out to each one of you this spring to set something up and get them taken care of as you will be my only appointments. As of right now I do not plan to schedule anything like I have the past 3 years. I will get the gift certificate holders taken care of and if by chance I find a chance to squeeze a few people in next year I will do my best.
I’m sorry for any inconvenience this has caused, I’m sorry for taking so long to explain…I have been racking my brain on how I wanted to explain and handle this as I still get messages almost daily for detailing needs.
I guess the only answer I can give everyone is at this time my “business” was never meant to be a full time gig, I work full time already.
My family needs me more than any of my wants. Mainely Auto Detailing is not going anywhere, I don’t plan to abandon it completely, but until my family is older and is not as dependent on dad, I refuse to put them on the back burner anymore. This post may not be very “professional” and I may lose a lot of business and repeat customers…but I’m doing what I feel is best for my family, the one thing that truly matters the most.

Spent my Sunday morning and early after slapping a shine on this beautiful Ram for the 3rd time. This beauty belongs to a friend that has used my services since the beginning 4 years ago. This year was harder to get him in due to being on of the MANY that was not in my schedule but in my mind as one of the “get me in when you can” I needed to get this one in when I had a day to do so because I will ALWAYS go above and beyond for those that do for me and give me their repeat business. this summer has been one for the books for sure. Thank you my friend for your patience…it’s means more than you know. Not that great of before pics and the after pictures are pretty dark as well, but I was completely mobile and did not have the best lighting…but man, than carport was a DREAM compared to my hot steamy garage.

This morning I was a truck driver!…not really but I had my try at cleaning one up! It’s been a while since Iv touched a rig, they are a lot of work and take a bit of time. A few things didn’t go entirely my way, the fabric on the walls was stained quite badly and it was a very difficult and fragile fabric to get anything out of. I know this happens from time to time but I still get discouraged when it does happen. I went completely mobile for this job and toward the end of it, it was beginning to get quite warm. The owners were very very patient with me and me finding time to get this one done. Things have been super super busy here for myself and my family lately. We are still working on a lot of things to hopefully better serve you, but nobody knows the future. Thank you to all my supporters, family and friends near and far…still trying my best to get out of the little slump I’m in.

Number 2 on the week, is in the books! This one was fun, I really enjoyed making this 200 look and feel new again. The customer that owns this car is someone I have known a good portion of my life. She was my bus driver from the time I started school till I was too “cool” to ride the bus. There are not many on this planet as nice as she is and I’m glad she chose me to clean up her ride. This one received a very thorough interior detail, shampoo, ozone treatment, new cabin air filter to help with an unknown odor which I feel was remedied with the shampoo and ozone. Finally the leather was cleaned and conditioned to help make it feel much softer/newer. Once again, very happy with the results…this beauty is ready to hit the road again looking and smelling as close to new as it ever could again!! #200

Last night I put the finishing touches on this beautiful Toyota 4Runner! I took this project on solo so it took me longer than most have this year but I am over the moon with the results and how it came out. This one received a full interior and exterior plus shampooing of all carpets and seats to remove all stains and imbedded sand. I have roughly 9 hours invested in this one between everything. A thorough wash, claybar and wax really brought out the depth in this grey paint. The owner is a traveling nurse and spends a lot of time on the road. I was happy I could help clean up her ride! Love these 4runners!

This morning Laura and I busted this Acadia out. This is the 3rd time I have been able to work on this beauty, I am forever thankful for repeat customers! This one received a full interior detail plus shampoo add on. Dog hair and sand stand no chance against the proper tools and techniques. Now to enjoy the weekend with our families!

Just put the finishing touches on this Subaru Crosstrek. This beauty received a full exterior detail, interior detail and shampooing of the seats and carpets. Very pleased with how this one came out. The pictures do not give the exterior nearly the credit it deserves…the interior came out looking almost just like brand new again. Although I had my doubts about the tan light colored interior, Most all stains were lifted. In the pictures there are a few wet spots that had not dried fully in time for pictures but I felt to get the best results them spots needed to be hit again with the extractor. All in all, very happy with the results and I’m sure the customer will be happy with it. Once again, shout-out to my “partner in perfection” Laura for getting the interior prepped this morning and had it ready for me to get it shampooed when I got home. Her work, drive, and willingness will never go unnoticed with me!

Sometimes it’s not all about detailing, you have to be able to have some fun with friends and blow off some steam.
To much of the world these boxes do not look familiar, but the rules are very similar to what the entire world refers to as “co****le”
Beanbag madness was created right here in Howland Maine many many years ago and now it is a local favorite.
These boards were made by a friend of mine as a gift for Father’s Day from my wife. I have wanted a set myself for many years and they made it happen and even customized them to incorporate something very near to me, my business. Thank you to my beautiful wife for such an awesome, thoughtful gift. And thank you Jeremy for a killer job on these boards. You do amazing work and I would recommend anyone that is interested in beanbag boxes and or co****le boards to shoot Jeremy a message and he will hook you up with a quality, professional product that will be sure to turn some heads!

Just put the finishing touches on this beautiful 2020 GMC Sierra for a friend. This one was not overly “dirty” just needed a little touch up work and needed a few stains lifted from the seats. Once again, Laura worked her magic on the interior and got it looking AMAZING so when I got home I shampooed the seats, scrubbed the mats and put the last final little touches on the interior. Another happy customer! That will do for the rest of the week!

Just backed this Hyundai out of the garage to snap some pics of the exterior as I finished it last night after dark and not able to at that time…this one was a fun project. Again, I don’t think this one would have been possible without the help from Laura as I was sick most the week. She got it vacuumed and prepped and I put the finishing touches on it. The exterior was in desperate need of a wash and wax and once it got that, the red paint absolutely POPPED. The shampooer was also busy…there are still a couple small stains that no matter how hard I tried, they were not coming out. But I would say overall this job came out awesome and the owner will be happy.

Not very often I get a vehicle in that I can get some sweet 50/50’s from…can’t wait to get this complete job done. I think the owner will be very impressed by the time I finish it up. This is a travel car that sees sometimes a couple thousand miles a week, this is not a show car, but it’s on the go almost every single day and sees plenty of use. Love projects like these!!
