As the Memorial Day Weekend comes to an end….. hoping everyone got to rest, relax, and do the things they enjoy, in honor of those who served our country. Now time to make plans to attend the 11th Annual Howard Headers Car Cruise and Carshow, this coming weekend!
As in years past, we will gather and leave from Howard’s Main Street at 6pm, Friday, May 30th. We will cruise to Carthage, then on to Epiphany, and a stop in Canova, before heading back to Howard. Along the way, 50/50 tickets and squares on the Money Board will be available to those feeling lucky, and wanting to support our club. Your much appreciated, continued support , helps to defray costs and make the carshow possible each year. Winners will be announced towards the end of the night in Canova.
Saturday morning, registration will begin at 930am till 11am at the Legion Hall, on Howard’s Main Street. There are 19 judged classes, including tractors and motorcycles. The carshow will run till 2:30 pm, with award presentation at 2 pm to announce the winners for the 1st and 2nd place in each class.
New this year is the Car Parts Swap Meet. Good place to buy, or sell your xtra car parts, engines, wheels, tires, etc. Hoping to make this an added feature to our yearly show.
There will be several food vendors to satisfy your hunger pains. 6 C’s will again be serving in the Legion. Outside you will find the Bethany Youth Organization serving Indian Tacos , Go Go Burritos, Jenkins 605 Brew and Bites, Clifford’s Doggone Hot Dogs, and B- Cake Baked Goods.
Inside the Legion, scheduled vendors are BB’s Baked Goods, Jo’s Keychains and Bracelets, Hattervigs Bakery, Pampered Chef, Partner.co Natural Health Care, and Tie Blankets and Towels.
There will be raffles, door prizes, tunes, good food, and cool cars, tractors and motorcycles. Join us for a fun, relaxing day!
