The purchase process was decent everything's fine, the dealership promised to replace a side mirror that had enough damage to not pass inspection and thank God I required them to provide documentation of that promise because two months later nothing has been sent. I also have my temporary tags expired and I've been promised on three different occasions that they will be sent out only to have a promise for someone to call me back. It is now day 4 since these tags have expired in the check for the mirror replacement was promised on last Thursday as was a follow-up call regarding the plates.. still NOTHING from no one.. unless you live in Houston steer clear of purchasing anything from this dealership without the ability to walk in and speak directly to someone. You'll get the run around and empty promises... We are now venturing upon the line of a breach of contract on their end as well as the fact that I'm unable to pursue plates on my own given that the vehicle will not pass inspection due to the side mirror. Definitely making the cfpb my next contact as well as the better Business bureau
Gillman Honda is just the Best. I had an appointment yesterday, and Anthony took care of me. Not only was he Professional, Courteous and went Above & Beyond the definition of Customer Service. I was Always taken care of by Denise & Melinda who are still Fantastic..however Denise is in sales now. I made sure to say "hi". Thank You Anthony...and you are my "go to" now. Miserable service center. They couldn't handle their own recall work properly and fixed it thrice and yet my 2019 honda pilot is in middle of road at this moment with every dam light lit !!I wonder how it was on number one Honda center when it couldn't even fix a part in 2 months.

I waited 24 hours before reviewing my very unfortunate experience with Gillman Honda.
I was talked down to accused of lying and disregarded by 3 members of leadership- Mr. Dino Varcados: Sales Manager, Mr. Pete Harvey: New Car Director and Mr. Daryl Waterwall: Finance Manager.
The only thing I did wrong was not do Mr. Varcados’ job for him.
I purchased a car from that dealership less than 3 yrs ago - Mr. Varcados called me to talk trade in he sent me an offer letter and there is where the problem started - although he was informed in our 1st convo that I had just paid a car note last week AND his salesperson Salam called me to come there and sign the payoff paperwork- AND 5 minutes after being there I confirmed the payoff on the trade in amount and signed he came in when the finance person got him saying he was shocked and i withheld that info. Mr Varcados basically said I deceived him and never told him I had a loan out - same loan and paperwork he had access to. I then had the pleasure of speaking with Mr Harvey he talked down to me explaining supply and demand and how I meaning ME didn’t understand. But he was willing to give me a deal because of my confusion that was $150 to $200 more than originally discussed. After all of that I had the pleasure of ending my visit with a Mr. Waterwall who looked at me as if I were the problem. I have never felt so small in 56 yrs. Mr Waterfall your disgust in talking to me was written all over your face. (He was not wearing his mask properly)
I didn’t expect them to honor their mistake - everyone knows how shady car salesmen are. I also didn’t expect to feel embarrassed (for lying) talked down to and feeling stupid because their Sales Manager messed up.
I did expect a sincere apology I wasted my lunch, my time and the rest of my work day and all I got was disrespected.
Mr. Harvey did offer to pay for my next oil change thanks but I decline that nice gesture as well.
Things are great until problems occur that’s when real customer service begins. I will most definitely buy Honda again just not at this location I will give a fresh set of men to disregard me.

I purchased a car from that dealership less than 3 yrs ago - Mr. Varcados called me to talk trade in he sent me an offer letter and there is where the problem started - although he was informed in our 1st convo that I had just paid a car note last week AND his salesperson Salam called me to come there and sign the payoff paperwork- AND 5 minutes after being there I confirmed the payoff on the trade in amount and signed he came in when the finance person got him saying he was shocked and i withheld that info. Mr Varcados basically said I deceived him and never told him I had a loan out - same loan and paperwork he had access to. I then had the pleasure of speaking with Mr Harvey he talked down to me explaining supply and demand and how I meaning ME didn’t understand. But he was willing to give me a deal because of my confusion that was $150 to $200 more than originally discussed. After all of that I had the pleasure of ending my visit with a Mr. Waterwall who looked at me as if I were the problem. I have never felt so small in 56 yrs. Mr Waterfall your disgust in talking to me was written all over your face. (He was not wearing his mask properly)
I didn’t expect them to honor their mistake - everyone knows how shady car salesmen are. I also didn’t expect to feel embarrassed (for lying) talked down to and feeling stupid because their Sales Manager messed up.
I did expect a sincere apology I wasted my lunch, my time and the rest of my work day and all I got was disrespected.
Mr. Harvey did offer to pay for my next oil change thanks but I decline that nice gesture as well.
Things are great until problems occur that’s when real customer service begins. I will most definitely buy Honda again just not at this location I will give a fresh set of men to disregard me.
I was talked down to accused of lying and disregarded by 3 members of leadership- Mr. Dino Varcados: Sales Manager, Mr. Pete Harvey: New Car Director and Mr. Daryl Waterwall: Finance Manager.
The only thing I did wrong was not do Mr. Varcados’ job for him.
