At the Texas Truck Rodeo, I got my first drive in Genesis' 641-horsepower performance EV to experience the acceleration, handling, virtual gear shifts, and how Magma balances serious performance with the luxury Genesis is known for.

Always a great time to get behind the wheel of a variety of trucks and SUVs. The Texas Truck Rodeo 2026 was another success and a great time to evaluate these vehicles against each other.

The Lexus LX 700h Overtrail does something, many cannot… offer a high amount of off-road capability (beyond that of the GX550 Overtrail) and wrap it in a more luxurious experience.

I’m looking forward to spending more time with the Jeep Recon, and I can’t wait@to drive the Ram Trucks Rumblebee. So in the meantime some quick shots from my time at the State Fair of Texas Media Day with Stellantis North America and their vehicles.

The 2026 Dodge Durango R/T 392 is the same formula we have had for years.

It’s a good formula though. Simple, yet effective. HEMI V8, 3-Row, muscular styling, familiar.

In today’s market where screens and aggressive design elements are the push, this could look outdated, but maybe that’s the whole allure of it.
