My uncle Mark and I built a new table for my dads parts room today. I got ahead of myself and didn’t take any pictures before we were almost done grinding all the welds down. Got a pic of those two corner welds though and they were almost too pretty to grind clean anyways. Almost. Done by yours truly. 💁🏼‍♂️

I’m really bad about keeping up with daily posts, so just to let you guys know what I’ve been up to;

1. Did an oil pan gasket, water pump, and a complete 4L60E trans rebuild on a 2000 Chevy Silverado.

2. Did a super charger install and a big screen stereo install on a 2014 Mustang.

3. Rebuilt 2 different LS series engines. One went right back to stock, and the other was a race application. LSX with a big nasty cam, new lifters, rockers, pushrods, pistons, rods, CNC ported heads, the whole 9-yards. Thing should be making about 1000HP now. Can’t wait to see it go down the track.

4. I can’t even remember how many break pads/shoes I’ve replaced, or how many oil changes I’ve done.

5. Remodeled my dads bathroom. (Obviously not car related.)

I didn’t personally take any pictures of these projects, but I’m gonna see if anyone else did and I’ll share the pics with y’all soon.

Stay busy, my friends.

I don’t normally get political on my business page, but I will say this; I don’t care if your policies are left, right, centrist, or fu***ng Martian. I just want them to work and fix the problems they’re supposed to fix.

My last appointment today was pretty heartbreaking. I showed up for a mobile appointment to run a diagnostic on a 1997 S10. The client complained of hard shifts, losing trans fluid, and no longer being able to shift into reverse. I had a grim feeling based on those symptoms that the trans needed to be rebuilt, but I wasn’t going to tell her that without verifying with a visual inspection and running the diagnostic.

Anyways, the news was bad. Upon getting the vehicle to temp, I could plainly see a trans leak, and the diagnostic said the valve body was sticking. Trans needed to be rebuilt and I hadn’t even gotten around to checking out the trans control solenoid. When a valve body goes bad it often takes the converter with it. Just bad news. This was going to be an expensive repair.

My client is an elderly woman, retired, and widowed. When I broke the news she started crying and said she couldn’t afford the repair.

I did the only thing I could do and I just told her sorry and gave her a hug.

Then this wonderful woman asked me how much she owed me for my time. I told her nothing and merry Christmas.

How in the hell do we not take better care of our elderly in this country? This is the USA, for goodness sake. We need to save the middle class. Something needs to change things for the better and I don’t care which side of the party line it comes from, just as long as it works.

It’s very true. I love working on and building cool stuff.

Playing a little hooky today with my youngest son because he’s not feeling well.

You gotta work hard, but sometimes family just has to come first.

With that being said, I’ll still be working from my phone today! Hit me up if you need a repair, just wanna go faster, or have any other questions!

I almost never publish on this page. Tbh, I had forgotten that I made it.

Anyways. Here’s a recent mobile job I did for a customer in Spring.

Customer complained of a coolant leak on his 2001 Lincoln Navigator.

Yeah... He was certainly right. 3 different leaks. All running down and across various hoses and engine components and then dripping into the valley, filling it up, and then dripping from 4826229 different places onto the ground. Took a little while, but we got the problems diagnosed, repaired, and even did some updates while we had it all apart. SuperFlushed the system, flushed both heater cores, and buttoned everything back up.

Did all of this at an affordable price without leaving the guys driveway.

Now that’s service.
