Just did an oil change and now my engine sounds like a clock gone haywire. Frustrated: Well, this oil change turned into a whole different ballgame! 😩 Found some serious pitting on the intake cam lobes after a ticking noise started. Any advice on what oil to run to keep this Duratec alive?

I was told by my salesman that ALL of the fluids in my vehicle are LIFETIME so why are they trying to sell me a brake flush and bleed the clutch fluid, is clutch fluid even a real thing?? I don’t know who am I supposed to believe a shiesty ignorant parts replacer or a top notch honest salesman. These dealerships think they can pull a fast one on me jokes on them I have a lawyur on retainor and they are going to face the full wrath of JUSTICE as they are coercing me into believing lies and using deceptive practices to commit fraud and perjury. This is the last time I EVER go to the dealership because they are just as smart as a couple of pinecones

Never seen an oil plug like this before 🤔

Changed the oil on my 2007 Toyota Sequoia today and ran into something weird on the drain plug. It's got this plastic tab piece around the bolt that I've never seen before.
My question is: should I try putting a crush washer in front of this plastic piece, replace the whole thing as is, or should I try and get a new one of these plastic tabs? 🙏 Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated!

Can I even make it to work on this? 😳

Ran into a bit of a pickle this morning. 🔧 Was trying to get the lug nuts snugged up on my rig with a short tire iron, putting all my weight into it.
Now I'm in a bind, gotta get to work in about an hour. Anyone know if I can still drive on this, or am I gonna have to call for a tow?

My battery's showing a good amount of corrosion. 😩 Does this amount of battery acid mean I have to replace it?

Or can I just clean it off? Also, do I need to do anything to the battery before cleaning it off?

What leaves identical damage marks in two separate spots? 🤔

Got a weird one on my '08 BMW engine. 🤔 This cable has two separate sections with identical damage, but only on one side.

There are no moving parts nearby, no signs of rodents, and no other damage like this anywhere else. The wires inside seem fine, and the car runs without any issues.

What could have possibly caused this? 🔧
