How could you ever park a Ferrari for 40 years?! When it comes to barn and garage finds, that’s the question we hear most often.
Before the widespread internet, modern scanning and reproduction technology, and today’s global parts access, sourcing components for a European sports car could become an impossible task. Often, the only replacements available were dwindling NOS factory leftovers, tracked down through small independent suppliers, mailed correspondence, and photocopied catalogs.
And sometimes, all it took was one failed component to sideline an otherwise healthy Ferrari for decades, ultimately giving rise to the modern-day barn finds we celebrate today.
