Randy's Driveshaft Service Randy's Driveshaft Service A new welder specifically for building aluminum shafts was purchased.

In July of 1986 Randy spun his driveshaft operation off our parent company, Chalks Truck Parts, opening shop as Randy's Driveshaft Service in a building next to the truck parts house with just two other employees, Andy and Mike. Building and repairing driveshafts was a specialty in-house, but Randy began to supply his customers with control cables, power takeoffs and hydraulic pumps gathered from

other distributors in town. Hard work and a nose for opportunity brought the company distributorships of it's own over the years: Spicer, Neapco, Chelsea, Permco and others. In 2003 the company built a brand new facility behind Chalks facing Market Street, greatly expanding space for offices, inventory and shop equipment. A second set of DRS driveshaft machinery was installed and the shop now boasts two state-of-the-art driveshaft balancers, two cut/push/pull lathes and two welding/straightening stands. The original three employees are still with the company and the staff has grown to a family of brothers serving the needs of our customers, near and far. Contacts in the industry allows us to stock and deliver what our customers need, but it's the service that keeps them coming back.
