Please keep the men and women of Chesterfield County Fire and EMS in your thoughts and prayers as they suffered the tragic loss of one of their own today.

Chesterfield Fire and EMS (CFEMS) is saddened to report the death of Captain Jason Ware, who was assigned to Engine 201 “A” Shift at the Chester Fire Station.

Captain Ware was killed early this morning in an auto accident near West Point, Virginia, while on his way to work. Captain Ware was 46 years old and was a 20-year veteran of CFEMS. After graduating from Recruit School #33, he served in multiple station assignments throughout the county. His beloved assignment was the Chester Fire Station – one of the busiest in the county - where he served as a firefighter and most recently as captain. Over his career, Captain Ware received various awards and most recently served on the department’s recruit interview panel where he was involved in the hiring decisions for multiple firefighters now serving the residents of Chesterfield County.

Fire Chief Edward “Loy” Senter Jr. notes that “we are heartbroken by this sudden loss and express our sincere condolences to Captain Ware’s family including his wife and two daughters. The department will be providing support as needed to the family and coworkers during this very difficult time.”

Well, when one door closes 2 more open.

We were dropped by Eco battery because they do not support small businesses. Because of this, we needed to find another lithium battery supplier. Not only did we find another supplier, but we found one that is better than Eco battery.

We have signed on with Bolt Energy. They support small local businesses, offer a better warranty, and have tremendous customer service. On top of all of these benefits, Bolt Energy's lithium batteries are more cost-effective and offer more accessories with their battery bundles.

Thank you Eco Battery for dropping us and not supporting small businesses. You allowed us to find a better battery to replace you.

We have also signed on with Feniex lights. So let us know if you or anyone you know is in the market for a high-quality LED emergency or party light. We can get you anything you need.

New Battery
51V 105Ah (AKA the “Skinny”)

Our new 51V 105Ah battery was designed to allow single (105Ah) or dual (210Ah) battery drop in fitment in many OEM battery trays, including the EZGO TXT and Navitas Chassis. We also have a replacement tray and plastic liner that will really complete the install.

For many other make/model fitments, we offer bracket kits that are easy to install, and provide a clean factory look.

But don’t worry, the original 51V 105Ah "Thru Hole" isn’t going away. We are simply just adding the "Skinny" to the lineup to accommodate more makes/models and offer another 51V size option.

All chargers shipped after July 1, 2022 will now come standard with our Locking Quick Connector. This will ensure a safe, reliable connection that will better withstand vibrations and corrosion over time.

We now have 4 models of charge ports that will pair with our new quick connect chargers. For previous installs with our 110V charger plug, we also have 4 models that will pair with those.

All battery orders shipped after July 1, will be shipped with a pigtail to go from quick connect to 110V, unless a quick connect charge port is also ordered. This will ensure you will be able to charge directly from a standard 110V extension cord (12 AWG recommended).
