🎣🚤 ANOTHER Lowe’s fishing boat is heading out of our Houghton Lake store and heading back to Toledo, Ohio where these great customers are from.

Joe has been at it again, executing another sale and helping someone get ready to chase the fish! 🎣👏

But let’s be honest… you better hurry! Pretty soon the fish are going to be wearing sweaters, the lake will be freezing, and your fishing pole will be sitting in the garage wondering what it did wrong. 😂🥶

Get that boat while you still can! Because once the water gets hard, the only thing you’ll be catching is cabin fever! 🤣

Thanks for trusting Outdoor Equipment Co. and congratulations on the new Lowe’s fishing boat! Now go make some memories—and hopefully catch something worth bragging about! 🎣😎

🩷 MELT ICE. HELP LOCAL FAMILIES.

Outdoor Equipment Co. is proud to now carry Hot Pink Deicer, a Michigan-made product that does more than keep your driveways and walkways safe.

Hot Pink Deicer was created with a special mission: a portion of the proceeds helps support local families affected by breast cancer.

It’s also a deicer you can feel good about using:
✅ Effective ice-melting performance
✅ Safer around pets and plants
✅ Non-corrosive and non-tracking
✅ Bright pink color shows where it has been applied
✅ Helps support families in our community

You’re going to need deicer this winter, why not choose one that gives back? Stop by any of our 3 locations in Metro Detroit, Greater Lansing or Houghton Lake and grab a bag before the next freeze!

🚨 NEW GUY ALERT! 🚨

Help us give a big OECO welcome to Dave, our newest Service Writer at the Houghton Lake store! 🧡🔧

Dave is a true Houghton Lake local, so he already knows his way around the area—and probably knows a few good fishing spots we should be asking him about! 🎣😎

Before joining the OECO crew, Dave worked at JS Boat Service in Prudenville, so he’s no stranger to boats, equipment, and keeping things moving.

Dave’s sons, Luke and John, both graduated from Houghton Lake, so you could say he’s pretty well connected around town! 🎓

When Dave isn’t at OECO, you’ll probably find him fishing, boating, riding his motorcycle, checking out dirt track races, or taking his grand-dog Ozzy for a hike. 🏍️🏁🐶

We’re excited to have Dave join the team! Welcome to the OECO family, Dave! We’re looking forward to seeing what you bring to the crew. 👏🧡

Just remember, Dave… you’re part of the team now, so there’s no escaping us! 😂
